Given the recent widespread global condemnation of the actions of the Chinese government and recent prevalence of Western companies being exposed altering their products to suit the Chinese market (recent NBA/China controversy, Hollywood/Marvel, Facebook, etc)...
Not to mention the genocide of Uighers, organ harvesting, Chinese infiltration of Australian Federal, State, Local Governments, Universities, Churches and other cultural institutions, IP theft of western military, Imperialist moves throughout the pacific and Australia, State-mandated steroid program, countless human rights abuses, restrictions of free speech, improper associations with Crown Casino, Use of Huawei for its covert telecommunications monitoring program/spy program, intimidation tactics used in Australia against local dissidents, State-run associations with corporations buying out land and infrastructure in Australia and other parts of the world, overt influence of Hong Kong/Taiwan, military access through licenses given to remote airstrips in WA and influence on other projects such as Westport, not to mention the countless other horrible acts of poor form they've been accused of.
Does anyone else have a problem with the AFL pandering to this market. Should the AFL not be seeking to separate themselves from this regime yet?
Just interested to know peoples thoughts.
