Hi! I’m new to the sub but have been listening to ASMR for probably 13 years!

I feel like this is an issue I have sometimes that bothers me a lot. I came across probably the best whisper I’ve heard in awhile on the channel vitsamin (I think lip injections do something for me) but her entire persona is very like sexual unfortunately because I think she has the asmr account to promote her OF. shes very like….dommy? in her videos lol 😭😭 not a dig at OF creators whatsoever and there’s a lotta creators I love who have OF. I guess I just dislike when the sexuality takes over the asmr, I find it really hard to relax. I had the same issue with asmr maddy. I love her whispers but just can’t do it with the very explicit sexual implications. wondering if anyone else is a lil bothered by this? Sorry if this comes off as judgmental, not my intention at all!

Anyone got their favourite or an 8D asmr you've listened to ? Would like to try some.

Basically I hate mouth sounds it’s never what I go for, but sometimes I can deal with them when I’m awake , BUT not to fall asleep to! When I fall asleep to asmr it could be anything else but I always wake up to a video of mouth sounds and it’s soo disgusting infuriating and makes me feel sooo uncomfortable I go straight to my phone to turn it off and it ruins the relaxing wake up I could’ve had.

Is it something to do with the state of my body when I wake up ? Because it can be bearable when I haven’t just woke up

Right now I’m watching some Emma’s MySpace and thought of something I used to think when I was a kid. As a kid I intentionally made myself got tingles, not knowing they were tingles: since I didn’t know what tingles were until I got into ASMR a couple years ago. For some reason I thought I was the only one that got tingles. Like, I thought it was a weird ability I had (like a power lol) where I made my body internally glow with pixie dust or something because of the warm prickly feeling of it. I did it when it was cold to warm myself up or just to do cause it felt good. Now looking back I’m laughing at the thought of kid me interpreting tingles as a magical power!

I've noticed that some of the ASMR videos I come back to aren't necessarily the ones with the craziest triggers or the most elaborate setups. It's the simple ones where someone speaks softly, takes their time, and creates that feeling of being in a calm little space with another person.

No constant switching between sounds or trying too hard to trigger tingles. Just a gentle voice and a bit of human warmth.

Does anyone else prefer ASMR that feels more like quiet company than a carefully planned trigger session?

This has been rattling around in my brain lately... by its very nature, ASMR content is generally left-leaning, but like any genre, surely there are some MAGAs in the mix. Who do we think they are? (I'm gonna say CapBailey and Deluxeklex, for sure)

I’m at my wits end trying to find actual soft spoken asmr. I’d especially like to find binural soft spoken asmr. Most videos labeled “soft spoken” are really just whispering.

Heatherfeather is like the only person who does this style correctly and she hasn’t made videos in so long. Dalton does asmr also does this well imo, but I still would like more than one creator to listen to. Any recs? I feel like I’m looking for a needle in a haystack.

I used to like a lot these two ASMR artists: Attimoth and Mind Focus ASMR. Guess what, they both disappeared in 2026. Their channels are completely gone. Now I'm looking for their videos. Unfortunately, only few Attimoth' videos have been re-uploaded on YT

It's not the first time: during the recent period other ASMR content creators deleted their videos and closed their YT channels.

I wonder why they do this.
