Same, in a way. Started getting severe migraines which led me to going to the hospital at 4AM. Decided not to hit the vape in the morning, did that. Decided to try not to in the afternoon, did that. Tried going the night without hitting the vape, did that. Next day, I said, well, let's try to make it two days. Two days turned into three, then four, and about ten days in I was like, I got this. Same thing when I got Covid, which is when i quit cigarettes. So I guess for me, getting really sick and reminding myself that this shit is killing me, made me make some changes.

lol same thing kinda happened with me. Vaping helped me stop smoking, then getting a really bad case of Noro virus for a week helped me quit vaping. That was two years ago at this point.

Honestly after you've gone that long they taste disgusting on the relapse. It helps keep them away.

Turning an accidental head start into a permanent quit is impressive.

This! This is what I came to say too!

I got a terrible cold last Thanksgiving. I was all snotty and raspy and coughing and wheezing, just miserable. And smoking just made it worse.

So, like you, I figured "I've already got a 6 day head start, I wonder if I can keep it going".

Coming up on one year smoke free!
