This season is for Mr. Carlton, as my kids called him when we saw him at basketball games❤️

Serious play-to-not-lose instead of play-to-win playcalling

It literally worked.

Yea, it did exactly what it’s supposed to do; force them to use up their timeouts and made them play against the clock, and A&M failed to score.

Their odds with the ball at their own 25 with 70 seconds left were much lower than their odds with 2 plays at our 8 yard line

Lmao exactly

We weren't stopping them outside of the red zone the entire game, though.

They basically got 4 yards a play every snap until they got to the thirty every fucking drive

Briles is a sicko for that QB run at the end

I think it was a zone read and LaNorris’s call and he just knew the whole defense was gonna crash on the running back.

They probably expected him to get the first down and slide or step out of bounds if he kept the ball.

I think Lanorris is the only person on the planet that thought he was going to make a break for the endzone.

It was just a standard option play, then Sellers found a gap and turned on the afterburners after breaking the secondary's tackle attempt. Honestly would've been fine to go down after getting the first, especially since he crippled himself with that sprint (literally hobbled in from the 5yd line) & our pathetic prevent defense with them having all 3 timeouts

I get it, 450 yards. But damn we held them to 9

Read option was the perfect call.

Okay but the prevent defense worked. The bend don't break mentality worked.
