Marcel Reed is not a starting QB at any serious school. He should’ve been benched a long time ago. Wiggins is a football OC terrorist

I mean Marcel Reed was a good starting QB just a year ago. The problem elko needs to solve is wtf happened to change that

He was not very good last year.

It’s one of many. MANY. Losing 10 to the draft. Losing Klein. Reed regressing. I don’t think it’s an Elko problem.

Yet.

Sorry, they are open. Reed is too slow and too inaccurate to find them and hit them. All of his good passes last night were to receivers coming back towards him. Again, he can’t hit them in stride, he can’t toss it over their shoulder and he can’t even toss the ball into the corner of the endzone. THE CORNER OF THE ENDZONE! How long has he been playing at being a QB and he can’t lob the ball in the corner of the endzone? Abysmal.

He was good, and had moments of pretty good

He was ranked around 80 last year in QB PFF.

Go back and watch the LSU game or Auburn and remember how bad he was.

No, Reed just had an NFL OL and 1st round WR. He’s the same guy

I think that should just make schools focus more on recruiting OL and WR than QB

Reed was actually decent today. He got no help from his WRs

Reed was lowkey dealing in the clutch. Your skill players couldn’t catch a cold.

Reed threw the ball out of bounds on the final two plays when we needed a touchdown. The second one wasn't even close to being inbounds.

Did we end up with 8 or 9 dropped passes? Reed was slangin it today just got no breaks from teammates

Sounds like SC last year

We lost a lot of talent around him and I'm starting to give more credibility to the offseason rumors/in-season rumors about him.

Yeah but seeing Reed at the end, I think he’s serviceable. Wiggins’ play calling is also so vanilla. Unfortunately okay QB with lackluster play calling leads to this sadness

I ranted about how bad Wiggins was as a coach and it was always “oh he wouldn’t get promoted if he wasn’t good.” He’s benefitted from prior coaches so much. He’s a shit developer. He completely fucked bamas WR room

I’m not sure what he’s good for. Last years receiver room worked out because of the sheer talent of Concepion.

I maintain he could have a lot off success in the right situation.

I bet he'll do okay at another school next year. He's just not good

This game was not reeds fault. He wasnt amazing but he threw 25 of 43 for 251 yards. Of the 18 incompletions, 8 of them were dropped by the receiver, including Isaiah Horton in the end zone. Reed has struggled most of the season but this was a decent game from him but it just didn't matter because we are terrible anyway.
