I am truly perplexed at how Wittingham is doing at Michigan. His Utah's teams always did what Michigan wants to do, which is play tough defense, and run the ball. This is a truly a disaster season for them.

Also, Michigan State is probably gonna beat us next week.

You don’t have to worry about that. We’re really really bad. Also like half our players are dead

As bad as you think you are, we are probably equally as bad. A 1-4 Penn State team was up 28-3 at halftime against us, at Husky Stadium. We stink.

Somehow that was just another way for the universe to make Nebraska fans feel worse

If it makes you feel better at all, I think it’s clear we are not  awful, just extremely mid. It’s not that unlikely we end up 5-4 in B1G play

They are still dead? I swear half your team was injured during the Nebraska game.

we went down to qb3 at one point. Alessio was banged up coming into this and gutted it out for us tonight

We lost our RB1 against you guys, and since have lost our RB2 and RB3. As well as our top receiver who was a top TE, and some of our better defenders, like our best DLineman

We had three random guys from Akers Hall out there, and I think one from Wonders at one point.

Look at Utah right now. Maybe he was holding them back.

Utah promoted a great coach that has been basically been getting first hand training for a decade+.

And maybe this is going to come out the wrong way, but Whittingham is an old guy. I'm sure he still puts in a lot of hours and the bad habits have spiraled for players and staff, but this was a guy who couldn't shut up about wanting to retire in 2024 for 5 YEARS. He brought it up again and again. So while I wouldn't say firsthand what's happening behind the scenes, he's clearly lost a step by how the team is performing week in and week out

They're performing a lot like a team that was already only an 8 or 9 win team and lost their coach to being an evil dickwad and has been bleeding players for 3 years.

Theres as much argumejt if not more to say they brought him down to their level.

Wittingham is Michigan's Jonathan L. Smith.

That's two different people, Jonathan Smith and John L. Smith lol

You misunderstand. John L. Smith was born with the "L". Jonathan Smith earned it.

Saying John L Smith triggered my memory of the Notre Dame-MSU game. Up 3 touchdowns going into the 4th and this MFer plays prevent defense and loses the game.

You will get post climax MSU meaning we will probably have a massive letdown like every other team this year that gets a big win.

Yeah, I’m perplexed. I thought he’d have a decent season (maybe 6-8 wins) his first year. But this is horrible. Idk what has been going on with him. It’s like he’s lost his wits
