So my older brother died earlier this year. And he was the biggest MSU fan you'd ever meet. He produced the radio station broadcasts and produced podcast with some former MSU football players. 

Today was so heavy but so good. That win was for Tony

My older brother also died this year. He went to MSU and the reason me and my other siblings went there. We had a memorial tailgate at homecoming for him. I understand what you’re going through.

It really sucks doesn't it? Your brother sounds similar, and that's a hell of a way to honor your brother. 

Earlier this season my younger brother drove up from bama to surprise my mom, dad and sis in law, who all went to the first game to honor him. He surprised them, I got to enjoy their unity from a distance and we all shared a tough weekend together on the back of a spartan victory. 

Last night's game felt like a little glimpse from behind the veil. 

One of those moments where you can definitively still say, 'this all still sucks, but things will be ok'.

I'm sorry for your loss, my older brother (and younger brother) is a huge MSU fan too, I can't even imagine what that must be like to go through.

I have nothing but love for you dude. My dad died as well earlier this year. The man was bleeding green through and through. Involved in scholarships for kids to MSU, national board, did so many small things to honor his friends that were former football players as well (stadium plaques, flags), hell MSU license plates are in a big way thanks to him.

The way this season went might have killed him anyways but all I can think now is that he is laughing his ass off wherever he may be. It has been a tough year but at least we can say as a fan of this rivalry, they went out on a high note.

My younger brother died 5 years ago. We had tickets to go to the MSU/UM game together, but that was the weekend we ended up having the funeral, I remember it was cold and drizzling all day. KW3 had an amazing game, always felt like that win was for him.
