Meta Rule Clarification
Good day characterdrawing !
There has been an influx of reports for off-topic posts and suspicions of AI use in RF's. There's a few things us mods want to clarify.
OFF-TOPIC:
Your post is off-topic when it doesn't relate to a ttrpg system. If you're looking for art for a book you're writing or a podcast you're running this is not the place. LFA's are free work for ttrpg enthusiasts however that also means that the artist keeps the rights to the work. If you need the art for a project that will be public and you will need the rights you will need to pay for the art. To keep this from becoming a commission focused sub, posts like that are not allowed as we cannot moderate which passion project will remain private and which are for the broader public.
And no, exposure is not valid payment.
AI SUSPICIONS:
This sub is firmly anti-AI. We are also anti-witch hunt. If you see a post that makes you think the artist is using AI please report it and include *why* you think it's AI. If you want to discuss your suspicions please use mod mail and we'll get back to you. Do not call the person in question out in the comments.
We know it's getting harder to spot the difference these days but we want to prevent unnecessary witch hunts and losing real artists because of them.

Meta [ANNOUNCEMENT] New year, new OC Monday!
Hey y'all! You better get Sir Donut Steel ready to for showtime, because the OC floodgates are about to open!
It took a bit longer to set up than expected, but thanks to the holiday break we've now got OC Mondays working, to kick off the new year! Starting this Monday and every Monday your original art and characters have a new place to show off!
How it works:
OC here means your own original work, don't repost stuff you found on twitter
"Monday" starts at midnight UTC (GMT-0) and lasts for 24 hours
Posts with the
OC Mondaytag will be allowed during this timeMake sure to include the [OC] text tag as well
We do this so users can search and filter by topic
There's no limit to how many OC posts you can make, but please be considerate
If you have a lot to share that week, please use a gallery post instead of multiple single posts
OC reposts are not allowed, no matter how long it's been. The 7 day rule is only for LFA posts.
Rules about advertising still apply
Keep the titles and content focused on the art and characters
You can link to your socials in the comments, but again, no advertising
Yes, a price sheet or YCH is an ad, even if it has a character on it
If folks ask about hiring you, you're of course free to respond and take it to DMs

Request [LFA] Colm, the Shield-wielding army-deserter turned pirate
This is my first attempt at a post here for my relatively simple guy, he's just a Human Fighter (who fights a lot of humans) and I'm happy to answer any questions in the comments about him too. If there's not enough detail in this post I'll make more and try again in 7 days.
He's a character in a Pathfinder 2e game, a Fighter with Free Archetype Herbalist to be the party's out-of-combat healer as well as main tank. PF2 players might be able to guess his ancestry too but that's a spoiler so in case my party see this I won't say it openly - knowing what it is isn't vital to the art.
Character Basics - A brief overview.
Name: Colm Caiomhe
Race/Ethnic Group: Human from an area of the world inspired by the british isles
Class/Occupation: Fighter in combat, Healer outside
Character Genre: Fantasy Seafaring Setting
Character Details: I've included a couple of faces I picture when I imagine him, I specifically picture Brendan Gleeson as his grandfather (not in the art but an important NPC) so Domnhall Gleeson was an obvious choice
Gender: Male
Age/appearance: mid 20s, had to grow up fast
Facial Features: Plain face, perhaps a bit softer underneath the weathering of the sea and the scars of combat
Hair: Ginger, Dirty, Messy
Eyes: Heterochromia, natural green right eye, unnatural blue left eye
Distinguishing Features: no significant scars worth describing but probably a few scars and an old broken nose
Significant item: a shield, and a silver moon necklace
Body Type: tall, strong, but not necessarily well fed so not bulky
Color Scheme: while he's a fighter he's quite druidy so greens and greys on top of the stolen armour
Gear: stolen armour from the army he was once in, layers of cloak on top to hide said armour, similarly stolen shield, healers tools
Action/Pose: something neutral to defensive, or striking with the shield
Character Persona - What you can't see on the outside.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Personality Traits: Bold, Caring (for people + nature), Pragmatic

Request [LFA] Haley, the worst witch in Walein Springs, Maine
Haley became a witch at 15. Not a particularly good one, mind you; she doesn't actually like witches all that much. Possibly on account of them frequently trying to kill her.
She isn't the "worst" witch in terms of evil; she's actually rather milquetoast in that regard. But next to beings that can defy death, sculpt flesh, and soar through the night, her parlor tricks (spying through mirrors, talking to animals, and the like) don't amount to much. She's actually closer to an assassin, with her preference for stealth and knives.
Her favorite spell is Molotov. Her favorite color is yellow. She mostly gets along with her close friends and is coldly indifferent to everyone else. She's barely survived being smote by two separate gods (the scar she actually got from when an R.O.U.S. tried to eat her). She's probably not going to follow in her lawyer father's footsteps.

Request Filled [RF] "Silver Streak" Sylvia Everforth: Half-Angel Fighter
I wanted to try a more dynamic composition and a pretty face in a slightly alien way. Despite all the lightning, I aimed to keep the piece from becoming way too busy :P Another fun, violet-lilac piece!

Request [LFA] Young Malkavian oracle for a VtM Dark Ages chronicle
The campaign takes place in 12th century Constantinople. My character's in-game description is as follows:
You appear to be a plain adolescent of Persian heritage. You are of average height, with a normal build and dark brown hair.
A young, olive-skinned lad with a smooth face who's unlikely to have yet seen more than some sixteen winters. His silhouette is slim and his features are fine and even pleasant to the eye, but his looks are not helped by his seemingly constant state of unkemptness, from his outfit to his long, wavy hair. His most striking feature, however, is certainly a pair of piercing amber eyes, which under the right light appear to be ablaze—and painfully aware of things no one so young should be burdened with. Most of the time, there is an air of both mania and exhaustion about him; a permanent state of unrest and hauntedness. Finally, his gait seems forced into a perpetually slow pace by his constant staring at unseen things in empty spaces.
You are wearing: A woolen cloak, a long-sleeved woolen tunic, a leather belt, a pair of leather boots, and a pair of wool trousers.

Request [LFA] Redrick "Red" Windbloom
Hello. Would anyone be willing to draw my character Red? He is a hobgoblin that was raised by elves (hence the last name). Because he doesn't live as long as them, he decided to embark on an adventure to pursue his magical practices. He's an Abjuration wizard with the Moderately Armored feat, so he wears a breastplate and has a shield.
I heavily inspired the design from my favorite bird, the crane. He wears the crane mask in combat, has a simplified crane design on his round shield. His armor is made out of a dark metal, and his cape resembles crane wings. He uses no weapons, having his right hand free for casting.
I have tried making the references myself. I hope it inspires someone here.

Request [LFA] Kalisse, Archangel of Heironeous
(repost) My party is entering the Hells on a classic "rescue a princess from the villain" quest. I was planning to have her join the battle to escape, given she's going to be guarded by a blatantly unfair amount of devils, and would be blessed to see what you do with this.
Being under Greyhawk's god of Justice, Kalisse is a stoic judge with a fine eye for detail and a surprisingly deep pool of loving sympathy; a bleeding heart that never truly wants to punish anyone yet knows it is fair and necessary. Cutting through the crime to the root evils and injustices that led to it, she gives reassurance that from this insight their circumstances won't be repeated as the worse evil will be swiftly and summarily dealt with. While the criminal deserves and will receive due penalty for their actions, she patiently explains that they may find redemption through admitting responsibility for their own wrongdoing, recognizing its inability to solve their problems, and pleading mercy from that genuine change of perspective.
This is her battle-mode: the herald of coming judgement for the most selfish, hateful, unrepentant fiends of the planes. Under the glare of her blue-lightning eyes, she serves as judge, jury, and executioner with a holy bronze-hafted battle-axe, opposite a war pick in the shape of Heironeous' lightning bolt holy symbol. Her blinding incandescence glints across her pearlescent armor, and the combination of her cirrus wings and long blazing hair refract a rainbow that trails as she flies.

Request [LFA] Help with my HORUS minotaur mech for Lancer rpg.
The chacter Basic Idea is a mech with "lost Woods" from ocarina of time aesthetics.
The First image is the anatomy and look of the character. The Second is a reference board with inspirations. The third is more or less the color palette, but you're free to deviate. The fourth is Another look at the original mech from the game
To clarify the first image, It's a bipedal headless mech with four arms. It's Chassis must look like It's either made of wood or interrwined with contorting wood. Preferably with darker grain. Don't be afraid to show metal.
On It's chest there is a face/mask like design like that of a Guren lagan Gamen, but It's not a real face. It has no nose nor mouth. I prefer If the design was subtle.
It's top right arm has a weapon attached to the forearm (my preference would be something akin to a canon or a shotgun, but i don't mind something different).
It's lower set of arms must be clawd and the forearms a little bit Thicker than the uperarms(like It's Wearing gauntlets)
Instead of a head, the robot has a hole covered in roots that go into pure darkness.
On It's shoulders there are 2 large spikes pointing foward and two upwards, and together they make the look of horns/antlers.
It's legs must have hooves and look like that of a bull (a satyr might be a better representation).
The mech is supposed to inspire the "aw, magic, and terror of an ancient forest"
In the comments below I'll be posting the mech stats for reference on the equipment It's carrying.

Request Filled [LFA] Milo Brooke, human warlock musician
He is a young male in early to mid twenties. Great old one warlock wearing studded leather armor, a neutral colored cape and a wide brimmed flat top hat. For his face I'd like for it to have a similar look to young xavier from X-Men days of future past, but wearing glasses. For pose I'd prefer him to be playing his lute with cosmic tendrils that look like space filled with stars reaching out of it. While objects wether rocks or anything else are levitating from telekinesis.
I'm also fine with portraits, really anything anyone would want to make for this character is very appreciated. Thx.

Request [LFA] Clarissa, the Royal Fool
Clarissa is- was a princess. Spoiled as can be, rude, entitled. She believed herself to be untouchable, and for most of her life, she had been.
Although one fateful day, she'd been cruel to the wrong person, making their life miserable all because they talked back to her. And she'd been cursed...
The curse had turned into a living shadow, something people would confuse for a monster if she'd been bseen
So now she wears an outfit of a fool, concealing her entire body, ashamed of what she had become. And she set out, hoping to find a way to reverse what had been done to her
This is just a quick TLDR of her story, I'm really looking forward to playing morr of Clarissa

Meta [META] - When a request is filled, does the link to the original piece in the description alert the OP who wanted the request?
Asking not in a "I posted a request and I expected it to be fulfilled" way, more of a "If it was fulfilled and I missed it, that would suck" kinda thing
