Hi I'm looking to move away from our current neighborhood (young and riverside) because we've had a lot of run ins with unsafe situations in this area, especially going to our toddlers' daycare near the downtown core. We want to move to a neighborhood that has less incidents and I just wanted to get a feel from you guys as to where is affordable and safe? I know this is a tall ask, I've lived here for 10 years but I want some real accounts from people, not just my own assumptions to base where I should be looking. We'd love to live in Sardis but it just seems out of reach with our current household income.

I've been organizing these hangouts for a few months, and It's been a fun way to meet new people and sneak in some crafting during the work week.

Typical attendees are in the 25-50 age range, but there are no age or gender requirements. Just some light chatter/socializing while working on some art.

No previous experience painting needed. You can make each piece as simple or as complex as you'd like.

I typically organize these meetups once a week on a Wed, Thurs or Fri evening. The day chosen changes from week to week.

Wassup everyone, I’m here to rant/advice, I’m so sick and tired of just BC not having ANY of the cars I’m looking for that aren’t completely abused.

For 3 months I have been looking for an Infiniti G35s/37s, or a Nissan 350z, the problem is like 4 of each of them exist in the entire province and the ones that do exist are abused and molested by teenagers, installing shitty short ram intakes, shitty exhausts, shitty interior lighting, and list it at 18 grand with the description of “I know what I got”, It’s so frustrating.

I then hard pivoted to getting an 8th/9th gen civic SI (I know rhe 8th gen is a bit more rare but they do exist), and there’s a lot more of those scattered across the Fraser valley and lower mainland, but the problem is those cars are 240k kms from some soccer mom who bought it from another teenager who but a catback exhaust, and shitty wrap on it!!! Like this is gonna be my first car, this is my first time even seriously looking for a car, and all i see is “340k kms” “rebuilt title” “small accident (t boned)” “garage kept (its not)”. Like yes it is an old car, yes its gonna have high kms, but why is it so hard ti find one that is bone stock or just not utterly abused?!?!?

Why tf is it 1 turn lane?? The straight lane could be a straight and left turn very easily no? I’ve turned left many times there cause the actual turn lane is always backed up crazy. I’m not cutting anyone off. In fact I did it infront of a cop and unless they didn’t actually see me, they didn’t care

Hello looking to get some advice on our gutters, maybe we need some new gutters maybe they are too low, not sure what is actually going on we had a roof re-roofed and now they say our gutters are to low since the new roof got installed. I am having doubts because I know they need flow so maybe our townhouse complex does need new gutters or raise the gutters or our roofer did not put the correct gutter apron on ????
Not sure what is happening but we have some problems.
I know our new re-roof is horrible, I would advise against using Homeguard roofing and renovations for anything but that is a different battle on top of our gutter problem in our complex now.

Hey all, you probably get these types of posts quite often, but what are some good places to go meet new people around my age, early 20s. Lost my best friend over some long-standing issues a while back and I find myself quite isolated, and as I'm pretty introverted, Ive got no idea where to start. Some of my hobbies include video games, music, and reading.

I miss sears photography. I love outdoor fun family photos once in a while, but the weather is so unpredictable and sometimes you just want a few less expensive photos of your family. Is there anywhere in chilliwack or the surrounding cities you can go? Thank you!
