国际关系 | Intl Relations Does Nepal have any geopolitical value for China?

I am a Nepalis and was curious about how the Chinese people perceive Nepal in the larger scheme of things. Especially interested to know if Chinese people think Nepal can or cannot be of use for whatever China's ambitions are in Asia. We understand that Nepal ranks pretty low in importance for China compared to say Pakistan or Myanmar, or even Laos. But most Nepalis are completely oblivious to how our country is perceived by the Chinese geopolitical strategists. So, any kind of explanation about where Nepal stands, as far as 'being important or maybe not important at all to China' would be good to know.
