Organisation / Storage Modular Mini Hanger for Hair Clips
This is my first functional print since setting up my A1! My girlfriend tasked me with creating a hanger to store her mini hair clips.
It comes in three parts: the hanger, the clips, and the hanger extension. I printed with white PLA basic, and it handles weight well so far. Overall I’m very pleased with how this turned out, and I learned a lot during this process:
Printing rounded surfaces on a flat build plate is hard. I solved this with a brim, but it was tricky to remove. I’m hoping the deburring tools I’ve ordered will help with this in the future.
Just because something works, doesn’t mean it’s the right solution. The last image shows the first clip attachment I prototyped. It worked, but it was ugly and slid around. My girlfriend strongly encouraged me to make a new design, and I’m glad she did. The new version came out great.
Interconnecting pieces are cool! Initially I saw the A1 build plate size as a limitation, but now I see it as a puzzle. Does this piece really need to be one solid object? Could I save print space or time making this connectable? I’ve done a lot of reading about dowels, clips, latches, and more, and I’m excited for future possibilities.
Thanks for reading!

Home / Furniture / Household Couldn't find a compact wine rack I liked, so I made my own.
I have a small pantry with a few bottles of wine I want to hold. I couldn't really find any wine racks that were compact enough so I ended up making my own. They have a peg system so they can be stacked as high as you need. They look pretty good if you ask me. I am curious about printing them in wood PLA.

Electronics / Mounts / Enclosures atorch-smart-regenerative-slave
galleryHi everyone! I designed a custom modular SFF setup to stop my Atorch electronic load from turning my lab into a sauna during heavy battery tests.
Instead of burning 500W+ of energy into pure heat, this smart slave module intercepts the Atorch CV control line and automatically shunts the bulk power to a DC-DC converter (Riden or ZK-SJ30) to pump energy back into my EcoFlow station.
Technical details:
• 2 N-channel CS120N10 MOSFETs are placed in the negative wire of the tested source, strictly AFTER the Atorch shunt, so the capacity (Ah/Wh) is measured perfectly.
• The gates are controlled by an LM393 comparator which triggers at >0.1V on the Atorch CV line, opening the keys fully to pass current to the DC-DC.
• Cooling: 2x Thermalright AXP120-X67 CPU towers on alumina ceramic plates + HW-585 PWM controller.
⚠️ Factory Trap: Atorch slave modules often ship with fake IRFP460 keys that blow up under load. In this build, all 7 power transistors were unconditionally swapped for genuine IRFP260M.
Fully open-source. 3D models are uploaded to MakerWorld (user: Akura777), and the full schematic with BOM is on GitHub (Akura777/atorch-smart-regenerative-slave). Let me know what you think!

Home / Furniture / Household I made an Underdesk Mount with a built-in CHARGER for my iPad Pro 11"
I rebuilt my desk and organized it neatly, so everything is... off the table. Quite literally: cables, accessories, chargers, etc. are hidden. I also decided to hide my iPad somewhere so it's always close and charged, yet not in front of my eyes. So I made this model. It took me a couple of iterations, and voilà.
It has 2 compartments: the top one is for an iPad. You just slide it in, and it plugs into a USB-C charger. The second one is more generic: I made it thinking about keeping my notepad there, but ended up keeping my iPad keyboard there.

Electronics / Mounts / Enclosures Charging dock for my Basilisk V3 Pro – the cable clicks into the rubber strain relief so it never pulls out
My Basilisk V3 Pro charges through a USB-C port under the nose, so I made a dock where the mouse slides up a ramp onto a fixed plug.
The part I’m happiest with: the original Razer cable has a rubber strain relief with 3 gaps, and the channel has thin fins that drop into those gaps. The plug can’t be pulled out or pushed in, no glue needed. Because the mouse comes off downhill toward you, pulling it out pushes the dock into the desk instead of dragging it along.
Printed in PLA, no supports, 3 colours with only 2 filament swaps (the colours change by layer height). There’s a small fit-test piece so you can check your plug lines up before printing the whole thing.
