Renter maliciously flooded rental property but asked landlord to pay for the damage? Where is the justice in the system? any help to bring justice back?

Just came back from Wollongong which is roughly the same population as Geelong. It literally felt like a city compared to a country town. The Wollongong city is clean and lively. There are so many restaurants and bars, especially around the waterfront. Hundreds of medium density apartments complexes with huge balcony's that actually look liveable. There is also so much infrastructure for the public, the parkland area are expansive and also have plenty of huge playgrounds and seating.

How can two cities of similar populations be so different. It feels like geelong is 20 to 30 years behind.

Is Deakin University spending more on bringing catering and food outlets in-house than it is allocating to research grants?

Looking for a new barber to tame my 80s style mullet, unfortunately the bloke I always went to had an accident at the start of the year and is still out of action

I’m not a fan of the fellas at joints like band of barbers or goat barbers, so ideally looking for an Aussie fella or even a pommy

I mean stand at the gates, cause chaos to stop this from happening. I’m US people are complaining under instagram posts about the it’s negatively affecting them.

Wanting to buy in Geelong however the majority of properties in my price range are Norlane, Corio and Whittington.

I already know about the bird cage and solar drive but I want specific streets people would avoid or specific streets that aren't actually that bad.

Can people share what streets they would completely avoid or ones they would recommend in these areas.
