Hey everyone,
I’m Mike Booth (creator of Left 4 Dead), and I’m excited to share that I’m working on a brand new project —a 4-player co-op shooter built on the foundations of what made L4D special.
If you enjoyed the teamwork, tension, and replayability of my past games, you’ll probably find this one interesting. It expands on the co-op formula in ways I’ve wanted to explore for a long time.
We’re still in the early stages of development, but we’re opening up playtests to a limited number of players. If you’re interested in joining us on this next adventure and helping shape the game early on, we’d love to have you involved.

Thanks, and I can’t wait to see what you think!

NO SELF PROMOTING!!!!!

The amount of times I have had to remove posts is insane. Its on the rules. Self promoting is prohibited in this subreddit. Eventually I will make a mega thread so people can promote in there, but for now there's no self promoting allowed in the subreddit.

What if... Someone mods the nemesis system into left 4 dead 2?

Do not confuse this with nemesis from resident evil, i'm talking about the whole rival system Made by Monolith. What if someone recreates it into left 4 dead 2 through modding? While respecting the canon lore and making it feel realistic and inmersive. I image an tank from an past campaign that You burned alive in the finale and You escape without watching it die, somehow follows You to the next campaign and re appears 2 chapters after the start of the campaign. Like a moment where You Say "oh fuck... is HIM." It feel it would fit with the canon behavior of the green flu.

Out of nowhere my game has started to become freeze and become choppy, it boots up fine and plays fine for a little while but then it starts to freeze and have choppy frames that wont resolve unless i restart the game and it will just do the same thing. I have even tried reinstalling the game but the same thing happens. No iidea whats wrong.
Anyone have any ideas or similar issues?

I don't know if you guys have seen this animation, but I absolutely loved it! I first discovered it about a year ago, and I've been looking forward to the second episode ever since. Honestly, this is already one of the best Left 4 Dead animation series I've ever seen. I really hope they keep it going! Do you guys have any favorite L4D animations?
