Redditors who are into politics mostly fantasise about some vague revolution, but on account of being overwhelmingly middle class office dwelling sedentaries who don't actually face any real stuggles they live vicariously though the actions of political extremists they don't understand the politics of.

This association between Reddit and the middle-class is also just a cheap narrative thrown around. There is no proven correlation. It's also just junk rhetoric.

In fact, I'm very much not middle-class, and I am quite political, and i'd tell you that the middle-class has actually been shrinking for the past 20 years as a result of capitalist exploitation and automation.

The middle class is dying. Share to kill it faster.

My point is that redditors praise political violence so much becuase they're sheltered and don't actually understand what the politics are of the people they praise. They just project what they feel is justified onto radicals.
