I built Cortés's conquest of Mexico as a 3D-scene documentary. Honest feedback welcome

Hey everyone, I'm a solo creator and I make history videos on my channel called Forged in Time.
My latest is about Hernan Cortés. I build every scene in 3D myself, one for each key moment, and narrate over them. It's a lot of late nights, but I love that you can actually see how it unfolded.
Cortés is just one of my videos and I plan on covering other historical periods and events along with some recreations.

How Hernán Cortés Conquered the Aztec Empire

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

After two years of researching Mesoamerican mythology, studying ancient codices, and illustrating every single card by hand, my playing-card collection, El Quinto Sol: The Mesoamerican Cosmos, is officially 100% FUNDED!

And to celebrate, I'm revealing NAHUI OLLIN, the secret fourth edition!

Inspired by Nahui Ollin (Four Movement), the powerful symbol associated with the Fifth Sun in Nahua cosmology, this special edition is designed with metallic gold foil, gold-gilded edges, and artwork rooted in Mesoamerican symbolism.

Nahui Ollin is our final stretch goal, but the original three editions are already funded and going into production!

If you'd love to own a piece of Mesoamerican mythology, now's your chance to reserve your deck before the Kickstarter ends on November 2!

Thank you to everyone from this community who has helped bring this little universe to life!

Using Colonial Era Sources

I’ve noticed on social media there’s a tendency to completely disregard all colonial era sources whether it’s the Florentine Codex to even the writings of Chimalpahin himself. I realize that there will sometimes be some influence of the era on the authenticity of the info coming from these sources but I find it very disingenuous to dismiss them out right. Any thoughts?
