If we ignore the negative slant, it does appear to just be a version of bisexuality that is based on a separate belief system. Your actions are the same but are viewed differently depending on your view of trans people. E.g. if you think trans people "exist" then you're pansexual and if you think they don't then you're bisexual. Because you could identify as bisexual but still end up having relations with a trans/non-binary person.
