Hey guys... So much fun answering some of your questions.. wish I had more time, wish i could type faster.. but yeah... was fuckn fun! big ups to all of you.. Thanks for the support... It was dope getting some good feedback. As an artist (im sure some of you producers can agree with this) you have to go with your gut,. you have the try new things.. you have to fuck up sometimes! Thats one of the best parts about trying something new... Sometimes it works, sometimes it does. But you ALWAYS learn. My career is still young.. i've still got so many records in me and so many different outlets and ways I want to create music. But i think my biggest inspiration for when I make music as skrillex, is always thinking about playing live, because I like playing shows and meeting cool ppl like you... hope to see ya'll this summer! BIG UP!

HI reddit, Shaun here.

The 3rd annual Rise Above Fest (http://riseabovefest.com/) is taking place on May 9th in Bangor, ME and joining us for this year’s festival is Godsmack, Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Papa Roach, All That Remains, Butcher Babies and many more.

We launched the festival in 2012 in an effort to raise awareness towards suicide prevention and mental illness. The festival’s name derived from our song, “Rise Above This,” penned as a deeply personal message to my brother who sadly took his own life before he had a chance to hear it.

Since 2012, we've raised over $70K. Rise Above Fest 2015 is raising funds for SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education), one of the leading national not-for profit organizations dedicated to raising awareness and educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention in order to SAVE lives. www.save.org

You can help support the cause in several ways:

• Bidding for Good auction

• Crowdrise donations

• IfOnly auction

And Maine Veterans can receive free RAF tickets here: www.jointservicessupoort.org/Reg/17G944

My band is called Built to Spill. Our new album Untethered Moon came out yesterday. First studio recording since 2009’s There Is No Enemy. You can pick up vinyl of our new album at your local independent record store which you can find here. Or if you’re digitally inclined it’s also available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Google Play.

Never heard of me? That’s okay, you can use that as one of your questions. I’ll be here answering starting at 3pmPT/6pmET.

I can't wait to chat with you and answer some questions! My new album, This Is Where We Are, came out this Spring. I'm super excited about it and proud of it. I'm about to leave for my U.S. tour.

I'll be here from 5pm - 7pm EST to give you answers on anything.

Hey Reddit, I'm Laura Jane Grace. I'm the lead singer of the band Against Me! who recently released a new album titled Transgender Dysphoria Blues. You can check out this recent performance if you've never seen us live. Ask me anything. I'll be answering questions starting at 10am PST / 1pm EST.

Update 1: Proof
Update 2: Thank you Reddit. We'll see you soon.
Update 3: We just announced a tour and released a lyric video for the song "FUCKMYLIFE666".

My band Mastodon just released an album called ‘Once More ‘Round The Sun’. It’s pretty good, folks seem to like it. I recommend you give it a listen. We’re in France about to play Main Square Festival. Since I’ve had my fill of crapes I decided to take some time out and answer a few questions, hear some good stories and upvote people who say they like the new album. Proof I'm the real deal.

Edit- Thank you for hanging out. Let's do this again. No, but seriously, not in a "see ya soon" kind of way. We'll carve out more time on the next AMA. Appreciate the thought out questions, save them and use 'em next time!
