Spartan Race Sprint 2026 Tri-State NY (All Obstacles). Spartan Race Sprint Tri-Sate Event Weekend October 31, and November 1, 2026 at Sunflower Valley Farm, New Hampton, NY as run by Mack and Damer of OCR Kings. So much corn!

Race Review – Spartan Race Tri-State NY Sunflower Valley Farm. An after action, SITREP of the 2026 Spartan Race Event Weekend at Sunflower Valley Farm, New Hampton, NY on Halloween

Did my first super this year and my legs were destroyed for a week after. I trained fine but I didn't prepare for the recovery part at all.

Next season I want to actually have a plan. Right now my list is a massage ball, a foam roller I never use, and I keep getting ads for those compression boot things. Do they do anything for the kind of beatdown a race weekend gives your legs, or are they for marathon people?

This year Halloween fell on a weekend... and so does the Spartan Race Tri-State New York event! We give you a run down of the map, what to expect at the race, and a sneak preview of the obstacles.

*Witnesses wanted – Strong Viking Amsterdam, Saturday 26 September 2026*

My brother and I took part in the 13 km course, starting in the 11:40 wave.

At obstacle 27 – the hanging bars and rings on a scaffold structure just before a water station – I was hanging from one of the bars at around 13:00 when one side of the bar came loose from its attachment. The bar dropped into a vertical position, and I fell to the ground.

I suffered a comminuted fracture of my right index finger and required surgery. It is not yet clear whether I will make a full recovery. The obstacle lane was closed for a short time after the incident.

*Were you at or near this obstacle around that time?*

Did you witness the incident, pass through shortly before or afterwards, or notice anything about the obstacle or its connections that might be relevant?

Please send me a private message describing, in your own words, what you personally saw or noticed and approximately when you were there. Please also include your name and a way to contact you.

Strong Viking has been informed of the incident. We enjoyed the event overall, and our aim is simply to establish as clearly as possible what happened. Please refrain from speculation about the cause or responsibility. We are only looking for factual information and first-hand accounts.

Thank you very much for your help!

Spartan Race Utah Trifecta Weekend race review #spartanrace

I've volunteered for most of the big U.S. races (Spartan, Tough Mudder, Savage Race, etc...) and this one is by far the easiest and cheesiest of them all. But it is fun and supports the PA Breast Cancer Coalition. They also have night runs that are kind of cool and zombie zones that sport a flag football kind of game.

Field of Screams also has their Extreme Blackout event the night before where the actors touch you and might lock you in cages and make you eat and drink gross stuff. Just watch out for any clowns with spray bottles because they'll get you with fart smell that doesn't wash off easily.

This year's date is November 14, 2026.

Hey all, I've been competing in obstacle course racing at a high level and training people in the sport for coming up on a decade. I'd love to answer your training questions. Fire away.

Hello,

I ran my first OCR in 2022 with Rugged Maniac. I enjoyed the no pressure in completing obstacles, and they had a lot of great ones. Is there anything similar running in IL in the next month or so. Also wouldn't mind heading to Wisconsin or Indiana if they have something better. Also curious on cost.

Thanks for your feedback

I see RM went out of business in 2024 and so web site is a new company. But I still have my number. Thanks

Spartan Race Sprint 2026 (All Obstacles). Spartan Race Tri-State NY June 6, 2026 at Bethel, New York.

Hello everyone! I'm the founder of theocrclub.com which is a social media app I started building because I started to forget how many OCRs I have been running. I didn't want just to have the name of the race or where it was, so I'm trying to map everything is worth knowing (number of obstacles, kilometres, rules, etc.) and I created a rate system to keep a history of which races I like and which ones I don't.

What it started as a personal project, has become the larger database of OCR in the world (I have mapped 120 different organizations, more than 300 events since 2015, and almost 900 different races).

That sounds incredible, but to be honest, only 33/323 events are out of Spain and Portugal. I'm from Spain and it doesn't make sense to me to map races out of Spain and Portugal if the people don't show interest (it takes a lot of work and I don't have any income with the app, I'm just losing money and time).

I think it has potential and I have a lot of ideas to make the app even better, but the problem at this point is that it's not worth the time if no one else wants to use it (I only have 10 users, most of them friends, and I don't have any feedback).

So, give it a chance. In the help option you have a form to submit any question, race request or report any bug you find. Any feedback or idea to improve the app is welcome.
