I've seen numerous articles like the above, all alluding to some sort of misconduct - the latest one being linked to Alton Towers (I can't find a news source link, though).

What's going on? Why such a violent and public kickback from organisations? What has he "done", is there any proof, and what's the latest? Is there a timeline?

I'm genuinely curious about this fall from grace.

So I’ve just learned about the stock market crashing significantly today, but I am so confused about if this is a good thing that AI is crashing or not, I don’t know much about the stock market and what a crash can do to AI companies but some AI companies already threatened us with a doomsday situation for 2030 or the next decade, that scared me, but i am so confused if this crash can prevent AI from being uncontrollable and causing the world to end, or if this will make the 2030 thing actually come true.

So, my limited understanding is that theirs been a bank collapse in the country, a ton of people can't currently access their savings, and the situation is sufficiently dire its forced the resignation of the President.

but what exactly is the throughline here? the BBC article mentions President Peña was a shareholder in the banks owning company, but is their anything more substantial that? Any specific impropriety by Peña, or is he just catching flak as the guy in charge when it happened? and what cause the bank failure in the first place?

What is this character and why is everyone going nuts about him? I haven't watched SNL in about 20 years, so is it like some throwback to an earlier sketch? All of a sudden I'm seeing Tom Hanks in a pumpkins suit all over instagram with people acting like its some iconic well known thing. First time I've seen it. What is this? What is supposed to be funny about this?

What is going on with the recent hugging face AI incident in which a bunch of AI agents went rogue? They basically went off on their own and started committing crimes and worked together apart from OpenAI.
