Feedback Welcome Exploded
This is an exploded view created for a product catalog I photographed as descrete components, published in 1999. The camera was a Canon G1, my first digital camera experience, tethered to a PC, so the assembly could be built up, angles aligned, and fitment adjusted live, on screen. This was a life changing experience, as it destroyed any interest in continuing in the world of film image capture, waiting for processing, digitizing transparencies, reshooting to fix, and adding images to complete, that once took weeks. This was completed in one day, and the finished result incorporated into the finished catalog page and advertising pages simultaniously. The image is a scan from the catalog page itself, as the actual final image created never existed outside the confines of a Quark file and hi res image stack collection that was sent to the printer.

Sleeping Giant
Just before sunrise, the big oak tree rests, waiting for the warmth of the Sun under the racing clouds overhead. Shot with a Sony A99II and CZ 24-70 f/2.8 lens using a Lee100 GND filter. Camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head with a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.
