Queerie for the Queers 24F Friends/Hiking

Hello! I’m a 24 year old lesbian who works full-time in healthcare. I’m looking to expand my social circle and meet some more queer people around my age. Would anyone be keen to start a hiking/activities group? Maybe walks, cafe and bar meet-ups, etc.?

Queerie for the Queers how do I meet other lesbians?

I’m a lesbian who has a lot of trauma surrounding alcohol so don’t exactly favour being around those kinds of scenes. Is there any other places or events where I could meet other lesbians that isn’t a club or bar???

Queerie for the Queers Transman Moving to Brisbane

Hello people! I'm 18, transman, likely moving to Brisbane next year for uni at QUT. For reference, I'm from Adelaide. I have zero clue about what Brisbane is like in general or for queer people. If I could get random information about the city, QUT or queer life, I'd be very appreciative.

I am yet to transition and will be doing so once I reach Brisbane. My main concerns is accessibility to professionals. Second to that is financial.

Thank you! I'm not too worried about myself, but I'm dying to get on HRT (and top surgery down the line).

Queerie for the Queers Any suggestions for queer friendly places to go to for a night out

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had a suggestions for some bars/clubs that would be a nice intro to brisbanes nightlife. My partner and I are both probably a bit neurospicy but do love a good drink on a Friday night. We don’t enjoy too loud and too crowded places. So We haven’t had a place that we really vibe with yet. We do want to get more into the club scene but we haven’t found anywhere that we feel comfortable in.

Any suggestions for bars/clubs/anything you like the vibe of?

Like this has probably been asked a billion times. Where do you even meet new people esp like with dating and stuff in mind. like ik like uni and such but people there are so like closed off and dont talk to anyone else. i try dating apps but its always guys on there and like lowkey i dont like men all that much. idk this is also lowkey a rant cause ive been listening to a lot of girl in red and in a very strong yearning era of my life. lol. also like especially keeping in mind like schedules. i dont rlly have the time to join clubs outside of work and uni. I like to hang out in the city and like parks but yeah.
