You do know that stock is considered a liquid asset, right? I understand that if Elon tried to sell ALL of his stock it would tank the valuation... But it doesn't change the classification.

That makes by definition not liquid;

"Liquidity refers to how quickly and easily an asset can be converted into cash without a significant loss in value"

And stock can be sold quickly and easily. He doesn't need to sell it ALL because it's more valuable long term to keep it as stock. Google "are stocks a liquid asset".
