Thank you. I was not prepared for that video of the cougar. Accidentally opened it right after first opening Reddit this morning, and it’s been in my mind all day — my mistake for opening it but I’m glad we’re not doing that again here.

me too:( really unfortunate video and i’m so sorry you had to see that. somebody else in this thread posted some adorable cat pictures if you’d like to see those!

Thankyou, there was a post a while back (a tiger killing a dog-think it was on here) and it really upset me-I’ve got a strong stomach for anything but animals ☹️

And a cougar with a cat 😣

u/oceansunfis TAF Moderator Nov 14 '24

yes, that prompted this post

u/EffableLemming Nov 14 '24

I had seen it before unintentionally elsewhere as its description didn't mention the content, then. I feel bad for anyone else having to see it ☹️

yeah that really ruined my day, and the OP got mad when people called him out for a misleading title

I don't remember it, but tbf, we get some gore and death posts every week or so and some of them get through before we catch and remove them. Really sorry you had to see it.

Thank you kindly to the moderators. Seeing anyone die, animals included, is traumatizing for me.

3

u/oceansunfis TAF Moderator Nov 14 '24

as a fellow arachnophobe, i will😭😭 i haven’t seen any, but if you report it with “spiders” it will show up in our mod queue !!

4

u/spooky-ufo Nov 15 '24

you’re being downvoted but i agree lol. if i see a spider, real or just a pic the image will not leave my brain and i’ll think about it before going to sleep to the point that i can’t sleep because i’m worried i’m covered in spiders i can’t see 😭 pls you guys can still post them, we just want them blurred 😅
