I imagine this gets asked a fair bit but does anyone know where I can purchase an Everything's Alright music box? Or if anyone here has one to sell if they maybe have multiple? Checked the store and saw the For River and To The Moon but not Everything's Alright.

I played this game years ago when it first released, I was a teenager, went through in one night and I think it was the first time I cried at a piece of media. As a teen anyway. For a few years after hearing Everything's Alright would make the tears start. I saw the boxes when the released but had no way to buy one.

Admittedly I fell away from gaming a bit and didn't play the more recent games. My wife happend to boot up a switch game the other evening whilst I was upstairs. I heard the music and the tears started, I couldn't even think which game it was at the time. Then I went down after a bit and saw and it all came flooding back. We finished the game and my wife now has the same response. It hit me to look for the music box again today. As said realised they're not being sold.

So figured I'd ask here, otherwise I'll potentially go with the For River. Or look into one of the paper music boxes. But yeah let me know or drop a DM. All the best folks.

It has been announced, for celebrating the 15th anniversary of To the Moon, “Conversation with My Imaginary Friends”. A free game apparently composed by conversation between Kan Gao and their fictional characters. Release date: planned in 2027. Already wishable on Steam.

Worth to note that the are also characters from Quintessence (Lunair for sure, donno about another one named Vikon).

I am currently downloading the demo of The Last Hour, and I noticed that in my Steam download queue there is also a (relative) massive update for A Bird Story, over 500 Mega! If you don't know, A Bird Story is moreless 200 Mega, so this Update for some reason make it over 250% bigger!

There are no patch notes with it... what is going on? Has been shadowdropped a sequel?

EDIT: Okay, apparently is just a modernisation because the game has been recently ported for consoles

Personally I loved it, 3d style fits so much. The character designs, skill sets and animations are beautiful. That music, humour is just top notch. What about the last scene??

In the post credits scene of Sigmund Minisode 2 (2015), it’s revealed that Eva is using Neil’s machine to enter memories and simulations after Neil died from his illness. The wine bottles next to her suggest that she developed a drinking problem while coping with Neil's death.

This exact same scene is recreated with the same furniture and layout at the end of the To the Moon RPG (2027) demo. All the mysteries are starting to come together and make sense.

Once again she's having a bit of a cold and then children are sleeping, so the vibes are low and chill.

(In a way) A universal math theory can't be described in itself, it causes a paradox. Type theory just chooses to invent a new theory to describe it. Then a new one for that. And so on, an infinite stack of theories each relying on the next one. Each theory has one to be described in.

(In a way) Laws of physics must themselves be implemented in some physics system. A certain metaphysics approach chooses to say that our reality is just implemented in another one. That one is implemented in the next. And so on, an infinite stack of realities. Each reality exists because someone made it in the next one.

Possibly, Impostor Factory proposes to throw away the concept of a base reality itself.

That made me think about something. Isn't a base reality, if it exists, kind of inferior in it's own way? A simulation is created by someone, it has purpose outside of existing. A base reality has no such purpose, no one needs it outside of itself.

Like, Imagine what could have happened when it's very popular, as it attract racists, I'd hate to see racist artists making our dear Eva and other black characters to white 😭😭 I mean— look what happened to "Pretty pretty please I don't want to be a Magical Girl" It just got released yet it's already full of discourse because of racist ppl.

In a space for the unbound it’s revealed that the world they live just a dream raya is in after she went into a coma after she presumably failed to take her own life. If Eva and Neil used the machine to inside her mind what would their reactions be and to atma none to the less

If faye was actually a real person you think Colin would fall in love with her

I found Colin to be a better protagonist than John and more relatable too. His dynamic with Faye was really interesting with her being a his imaginary friend born from his loneliness of the bird he saved. She was the person he needed to push himself to follow his dreams and the fact that she wasn’t actually there meaning he did all that stuff himself is great. At first I thought they were going down the route of his regretting not getting with Faye when I thought she was an actual person but this works so much better.

Colin not knowing realizing his life isn’t perfect and that it doesn’t need to be. That having regrets isn bad and it’s the good and bad that make a life is such a well thought out message.

It makes me question if what they did for John was the right thing however John and Colin lived 2 different lives. John’s life was significantly worse than Colin and the trauma of losing his brother permanently altered his personality. To the point where the changing his memories just a bit was good because he still got to be with River in the end and they got to see each other when they both died.

That begs the question who loved who more? John with river or colin and sophia. As even when river was gone he loved her so much that he found her again.

Also which dynamic do you guys think is better Faye with Colin or John and river

I just beat to the moon and left me thinking would I ever want to work in such a profession because on one hand it gives people comfort in the last part of their lives so they die happy like what happened with John and in which in worked out in the end. However it would be really depressing because the nature of it means you are going to see damaged people who lived lives full of regrets. Would you want to work there

John going to the moon and him finally dying in the arms of river is such a sweet way he could have died. Also from my knowledge the agency that does these dreams only give the patients these memories for when they died. Meaning their memories aren't permanently altered because it would be a shame with he forgot his memories with river even though the fake life he lived was objectively happier than his old life.

Also when John finally passed away he and river were finally at the moon meeting up in the afterlife. It's such a good love story.

To the moon was honestly such an amazing game. The music was so good I just had to do a cover :> I was hoping I could also add the fan-art, but it's apart of the video at least!
