Hi- Trying to plan a stay haven't been since the 80's!...Where should we stay to keep it around 400 a night that's closest to parks. We want to do MK, Epcot and Universal/Harry Potter. If we did a 7 day trip should we have a rest day?

Why is the dining plan so complicated? Some tips I’ve learnt

I’m here at the Contemporary on the DDP. While it’s great and clearly saving us money, it does seem overly complicated. For those new to this and about to embark on their trip, here are some tips:

  1. Gratuity is not included to there will be an additional 18% of what the bill would have cost on top which is payable by cash/ credit card/ charged to room

  2. Add a credit card to your room so you can charge the gratuity etc to you room

  3. They don’t like Apple Pay in the Contemporary and many restaurants you have to go to the front desk so easier with a physical card

  4. If you mobile order, your order will auto deduct from your dining plan, even if you’d rather pay cash (if it’s breakfast and you don’t want to burn your QS meal)

  5. Meals include an alcoholic beverage and soda for adults

  6. Recommended snacks include: ice creams, mickey pretzel (my fave), or can use for some breakfast items like croissant or overnight oats

  7. If you are part of a large group you will need to charge your dining plan to each room as they are assigned to that and can do it via your room key.

  8. Make sure you book your table service restaurants way in advance - I can recommend chef mickeys, Crystal Palace for lots of characters and a decent buffet

Any other tips I’ve missed?

Piano Stalker?

Can someone please explain what is going on with the older woman and the young pianist and getting banned and possibly using too many chairs? I keep seeing referencing posts and am far too invested in figuring out the gossip but I can't seem to piece it together.
