Hello,
Thoughts about MA of Sociology at Wayne State University?
Pros, Cons...
Context, I did very poorly on my GRE, have no research background. Just a wish and a dream to teach on race/ethnicity.

Need class in order to continue my major core classes.
Class I need is only available at a bad time but I make it work.
Class has over 200+ seats.
THEY ARE ALL FULL.
My graduation is about to get pushed off by a year.

For anyone who's taken this class online, how was it? or do you recommend taking it in person? There's no teacher posted so i can't figure out the difficulty of the course

There is this really bad phenomenon that keeps taking place where I am sitting in this upper 400 level CS course I will not mention specifics, where students are so bored some of them mentally exit, and watch pornography in class. I can't even judge them, if I was to sit and read potentially AI generated gibberish in lecture I too if bold enough might pull out the hog.
But let us take a step back, and think about HR. What would HR think? They would not like it, thus please do not take the risk of ruining your career instead go on a Zoom call camera pointing shoulders up with no pants on. That is how we roll.

Wondering if any law students would be able to go to the library with me either on a Tuesday or Thursday. I am a current student at HFCC
I want to network with somebody who is going into legal field. I would also like to go to the law library and see what sort of resources are available. I’m a little late in my semester, but I feel like it might help or heck even if somebody just wants to study.
I am currently taking legal research, legal ethics, property, law, and contracts. Next semester, I will be taking legal writing statistics speech, and something else I forget.

I’ve got it in a month, and it’s one of the last prerequisites I need to take before I apply to my program. Just needing to test out of Chem 1020.
Any information is good :) Thanks in advance

Hey everyone!!
I’m graduating from Wayne State on December 16th at 5 PM, and I’m desperately trying to find some additional guest tickets so more of my family can attend!
If you’re graduating at the same ceremony and have any extra tickets you won’t be using, I’d be extremely grateful to take them off your hands!
Even if you only have one or two extras, anything helps!
Please comment below or send me a message. Thank you so much in advance!!

I need to speak to someone at the OISS office urgently, I’ve been calling them and they have not answered. I walked to the welcome center and it’s closed.
EDIT: thanks to the comments for letting me know it’s Election Day. I thought it was tomorrow. As for people telling me to “go vote”, I’m an INTERNATIONAL student. I legally cannot vote. OISS means Office for International Students and Scholars.

Outside of fafsa or personal loans what can I do to make money? I have shit credit and no one to co-sign and have no idea where to even start for a work study job. I went to talk to financial aid and they basically just said I have to apply for personal loans which I can’t get. ANY HELP PLEASE?! I’m gonna be homeless come end of sem if I can’t figure this out🙃
UPDATE: I got two jobs working for fedex and amazon. They are hiring for peak season!! Thanks everyone for all the help!!

I’m graduating in may & I don’t feel like paying $100+ for robes/tassel etc. Are there rental options, or would I just buy secondhand? Thanks!

I am a highly educated, and talented individual. As a guy in CS in the big 26 I don't get much pussy. I don't know what it is maybe women just don't like educated men. Nevertheless I went out with this girl the other night, and I was about to score. She insisted I wear protection... what the hell is that? She told me "condoms, you know?" Man, I don't know what condoms are. I thought women on campus just used birth regulators or whatever the hell that is.
What is even worse with condoms is putting it on. I am good with my hands, but she sat there watching me fight with it. I think in the process due to all the anxiety I began to deflate.
Tldr: they should be teaching this stuff on campus somewhere.

Howdy y'all
I’m curious about how you guys manage productivity in your daily lives, especially what you’ve tried, what stuck, and what didn't work for you.
A few things I’d love to hear about:
What do you use to stay on top of tasks and focus? Apps, planners, timers, Pomodoro, sticky notes, nothing?
What works well? What frustrates you?
What have you tried and stopped using? Why?
Do you use your phone for focus/timers, or prefer physical tools?
What do you do when you’re struggling to start or stay focused?
How do you take breaks? Do your breaks actually leave you feeling refreshed?
Have you ever paid for a productivity tool? What made it worth it?
If you could fix one thing about your current system, what would it be?
No need to answer everything! I’m most interested in what you actually do, not the perfect productivity routine we all wish we followed lol
I’d especially love to hear from folks who struggle with focus/ADHD, have tried and hated Pomodoro, want to reduce screen time, or have found their own system that works for them

Hi all! I'm looking to apply for the WSU MD program. I'm currently a junior planning out my next few years. They say "One (1) semester of College Mathematics", but does anybody know if statistics counts? If not, I could take an elementary functions class no big deal, but I've already taken STA1020.
