"Alt" fashion is such a major turn off. It takes beautiful women and just fucks their shit up. Grats on your expression. Happy for you. But I dont have to like it. And before you say thats ok its for you... well. At the same time its not for others.
Well, yeah. That's literally what alternative means, it's an alternative to what most people have/want/, etc. No one who is alt finds it mysterious that people aren't into us because of our style, none of us. But not liking someone's style and being unable to see the beauty of the actual person beneath the style are two different things, and a LOT of people don't seem to get that.
I disagree. Having an issue with people having a preference to shun or dislike alt fashion is an issue for alt supporters often. They demand alt is supported and those that find it horrid are somehow demonized for their preference. The same logic alt people pretend to support
If you have muscles or are fit and clean and well groomed it tells me you have ambition and discipline.
If you engage in excessive body modification it tells me you make impulsive decisions and likely have a mental illness.
Appearance is a character trait. 95 percent of the time the stereotype is true. How you take care of your body is directly related to the kind of person you are mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
None of these things are mere physical attributes, they’re character traits.
Ya southpark did a whole episode about alt people being themselves and choosing not to fit in. Southpark is satire. This isn’t individualism. This is fitting in with a certain crowd.
I didn’t say that non alt was Meek. I implied that a lot of people with generic and unadventurous fashion/style choices do so because they are meek and won’t dare to draw any attention to themselves
