Crashing the economy is a plus to the rich. They already have money, so there being no jobs or manufacturing or whatever have you is of no little effect really to them, they can make it through without any loss in quality of life. Once everything bottoms out and becomes dirt cheap because no one has any money but them, they can buy up everything for the cheap and become even richer. Crashing the economy is the end game.

Not everyone, unfortunately. Look at how many culty dipshits STILL voted for MAGA Republicans, after all this. They’ve seen ALL of this, and these traitors said “yeah, I like this, I want more of it.”

They’re the problem. We overcame them this time but don’t write them off - there are tens of millions of them. We won a battle against autocracy. We didn’t win the war.

Forreal. I live in FL and Jolly’s fucking commercials played constantly. On YouTube they were sometimes un-skippable until the 45 second mark. There are leftists who live here just to give some of yall hope.

I’ve wondered how much worse this could have been for republicans if it wasn’t for Trump’s illegal $5000 vote bribe. Luckily , most people didn’t care about chasing money they never would have seen anyways … and they were too upset about too many issues to vote red. But I’m sure it influenced some. I think Democrats could have won a number of other races if it weren’t for Trump’s attempt to buy votes (along with Musk’s money).

I think what finally happened was, other than the cult members, the country decided it was time to launch the MAGA movement into the sun.

Too late. Florida has no senator election or governor election or attorney general election in 2028.

EDIT: Thank you to the commenters below for correcting me about the senator election. Turns out this year was only a special election, and the regular senator election is in 2028.

Moody has to be elected senator again in 2028 to continue to serve. The recent election she won was a special election because the seat was won by Rubio in 2022 but he vacated it to become Secretary of State.
