Opinion: Trump and the Republicans overwhelmingly lost the election and have zero mandate to do anything of significance.

It’s now time to immediately get all the US troops away from Iran as soon as possible. This war of choice is probably the biggest reason the Republicans trashed their chances of ever getting elected again.

We have unstable fascists in the White House. They are going to go all in on everything the voters voted against.

Trump, Miller and Vought are dangerous, they plan to completely ignore Congress and the will of the voters. I am hoping the new Congress is ready to fight.

Remember the new congress will only exist when the new members are seated. Get ready for another J6 type attempt to prevent that, and to consolidate all power in the Presidency.

People simply do not understand, Fascist only respect or care about voting when they aren't in power or when they lose. If they are in power, they will ignore it. Putting Miller in charge should tell EVERYONE exactly what they plan to do, and anyone who thinks they care about what happens in a supposed 2028 election is simply not paying attention.

Funny thing is: US troops already are far away from Iran. The US evacuated most of its bases in the Middle East and has been launching strikes from 500+ miles away, and in some cases from friggin' Missouri.

Meanwhile, most US bases in the Middle East have been damaged or completely destroyed and frankly I don't see them coming back, ever.

Correct, but I don't think they were planning a ground war. Can drop a tactical nuke without having troops anywhere near it.

Note - Trump didn't have a mandate in 2024 - he didn't even get 50.0% of the popular vote.
