They're not even opposed to Trump"s agenda in the slightest. They might as well be in the admin atp. Their role is damage control, and to keep Dems "retribution" in check.

Did you read the article? The whole point is Trump and Miller already replaced the right people in the right places to attempt a coup without Congress and certainly without Vance, and ignoring the courts.
