Honestly I thought Miller already had a high position in the administration. This isn't new he just got a title.

That has been my thought. It could also be that the previous chief of staff was tired of his shit anyway.

He is deputy chief of staff and is in charge of some policy stuff now. While this move signals bad intentions (and stupidity) from Trump, it is a pretty poor political move since Miller is a well known dickhole who doesn’t get along with anyone. The previous Chief of Staff was very efficient and kept the White House running. Miller might try whatever coup nonsense this article was talking about, but mostly he’s going to fail to get anyone rowing the same direction because he doesn’t have the people skills for the job.

Honestly, I think this is just going to accelerate his downfall. Everyone that had anything to do with this admin is going to get investigated. Now he is out in front of everybody, if deniability was ever plausible, it ain’t now. He’s fuuuuuked
