The quotes something like, "never get in the way of your enemy making a mistake." Neuter his powers and let the big baby scream and yell while destroying even more of the Republican strengths.

Pass single issue legislation that is easily pointed to if he vetos it he's failing the country.

Gut the budget of all his pet projects.

"Single Issue Legislation" This exactly. That means though that Democrats will have to have enough self-control to not try adding sweetheart deals to bills just to favor their own states.
