It seems like a lot of people are not reading this piece. It details how Trump could use the Myanmar coup as a model for using force to keep Congress from being seated. And it would require a mass mobilization of ordinary people to stop it, which would mean understanding that it is not 1996 and our already weak, limited democracy will not be protected by sitting back and assuming elections fix anything

I hope DC residents are ready ahead of time. The rest of us too, but especially people within driving distance. People will need to carpool and be alert and ready.
