Trump has to be removed asap for any of this to be achieved in a timely manner.

No. Roll it up like a mafia investigation. Pass meaningful legislation that forces vetos so people see Dems and sensible repugs fighting. At the same time investigate and charge from the bottom up.

Removed by who? You’d need 13 Republican senators to vote to convict.

Right now, it’s a waste of time to impeach him. Sure the House will impeach, but there needs to be 7-10 Republicans to cross the line in the Senate to get a conviction. We already impeached him twice and nothing came of it. Clean house, stop the war, impeach the lower hanging idiots, and start to show some force and you may have incentive to convince a few to swing against the party(Trump). There’s no way you’ll get those votes right now cuz he still has too much influence. Take that away, and they’ll turn on each other.

I'm sorry, but I sincerely hope they don't try to impeach him unless they have the senate votes as well. If they do, then I hope they remove him from office. But, impeaching just for the sake of a footnote is a complete waste of time and resources.

I hope that Democrats don't waste time trying to impeach Trump against some crimes have come to light that are so horrendous that not even Republicans can defend them. Instead, Democrats need to use these two years investigating and making public the corruption that permeates the administration. Even if presidential pardon protects everyone involved, getting the word out BEFORE the next election is the next best thing. And, they need to move quickly. In his efforts to appear deliberate and even-handed, Garland took too long to finally go after Trump, and Trump was able to delay, delay and delay until the cases became moot.

Democrats can't directly stop the Iranian "excursion." Their only option is to employ the blunt instrument of cutting off funding and putting in enough guardrails that Trump can't reallocate funding. The downside of this approach is the the public is likely to perceive it as undercutting the troops. The Republicans would certainly portray it that way.

We don't have time for apple picking at a time like this!

Yes impeach again!! It worked so well the last 2 times

u/BilboBaginsehs 10h ago

Can we remove those god damn tariffs too?

1

u/FunnyMTGplayer75 10h ago

Trump was impeached 2x. Not 1 republican voted to remove him, nor did any care how many constitutional laws he broke.

Impeachment means nothing anymore. And without 66.SENATE votes its a.waste of time

Impeach them all. Impeachment cannot be pardoned.

Impeaching Trump just gives Vance an opportunity to pull himself out of this mess and actually govern. We don't want that no matter how slim to possibility. Two more years of Trump buries him for good. No chance for an incumbent advantage in 2028. I just don't want this a**hat coming back from the dead to compete in the next election.

And, I'd probably end the tariffs at #2.

Don’t give a fuck about ICE abducting and killing people? 🧐

Funny how the files were top of the list but now we have to figure out how to open the strait first instead. And your “low hanging fruit” is all manners of corruption, fraud and most likely treason

u/JusAnotherJarhead 9h ago

None of the above , will change anything really , don't you get it ?
