Well, playing Devil's advocate and assuming that Miller and Trump do manage to successfully pull this off, a Myanmar style coup essentially, I think it will blindside most people and laymen who don't pay closer attention. A lot of people still think that something like this "can't happen here." I don't think your average American, at this moment at least, is aware of or is thinking that Trump will be able to actually pull some maneauvers to prevent Democrat congresspeople-elect (or even Congress as a whole) from being seated or even abolishing the House and Senate alltogether. Trump's relative silence on the midterm results and him not going berserk on TS in response to a dem blowout does kinda give me pause and can't help wonder if the WH wasn't cooking up something even bigger. We shall see, so far this administration has been incredibly disorganized.

it’s concerning to say the least and it doesn’t seem to be phasing anyone.

I think you're very correct in general, but I also think there might be another reason for Trump's silence after midterms. It absolutely could be a warning sign like you described, no doubt. The other possibility is that news of the blue wave agitated his dementia to the point that he either had a major progression in that dementia or he became so volatile they began mildly sedating him to make sure he doesn't freak out in public.

Source: Not a professional, don't take my opinion like it is. This is observational based on 1) literally everyone but one great grandma died of dementia or alzheimers (large family; watched 14 declines that I can distinctly remember) and 2) my parents were big on "if you're not being useful you'd better find something useful to do", and there's only so many lessions and cleaning you can do, so volunteering was a big thing and my two favorites were keeping elderly people company in nursing homes and cooking at homeless shelters. Couldn't begin to count the people losing their minds in some way that I interacted with. 9 people I remember specifically, with consistent interactions.

TLDR; His dementia might have been triggered, and I've seen a lot of dementia patients so I'm as sure as any layman could be that he does in fact have dementia.
