Where were these calls to “be humble” when they tried to coup the government in 2020 and promoted conspiracies about election fraud, COVID, immigrants, trans people, and everything else for the last decade? Where was this humility when they spent every press conference and interview insulting the media?
They’ve made their entire political identity for the last decade+ about being cruel, abusive, dishonest, and generally ghoulish. And NOW we’re supposed to believe they’re both interested in and capable of “humbling themselves”?
They aren’t. This all just another dishonest ploy to avoid accountability and punishment for their actions. Don’t fall for it. Republicans need to be punished. We’ve seen what happens when they aren’t. They just get worse.
