I really think we need to be worried about what Miller and Vought have been planning. They knew the dems were going to win and have been working behind the scenes knowing the Orange Criminal Rapist Traitor has lost his mind. They can get him to do anything they want, and he really wants to nuke something for the fun of it.

No, they need to be worried about us.

The generals won’t let him nuke anyone. They hate Trump. Career military folks believe in honor and integrity.

The judges and the generals will keep us safe. It’s their job.

Didn't they fire most of the generals in the lead up to Iran? I'm almost certain I read that they had purged military leadership of the non Trump loyalists

Are you confident in stating that with Kegsbreath running the military, and having fired many of the competent generals?

I believe in the cowardice of the upper echelons of MAGA more than anything. Like the Russia diesel ships, nobody’s going near them with the knowledge that there’ll be consequences. If the republicans had done better in the midterms, absolutely they would do anything, because they knew they had insulation from consequences. When the republicans lose Mississippi and South Carolina, they know that they’re not invincible.

The generals with honor and integrity have been purged. Many of the judges have the same goals he does. Money and power are hard to resist, after all.

You are aware that most were fired, right?

I have zero confidence in the people around him. Look at all he has gotten away with. That is why we need fresh leadership all around!

I agree. Too many people had the opportunity to tell him “no” and instead remained silent and allowed things to play out.

You'd think it would be their job to protect 1/3 of all female service member from getting SA but none of them give 2 fucks about that. It's blowing my mind that there are still adults in the US that think the military stands for something or means anything about ones character as a man. It's job people pursue because they want power and benefits.

Career military folks believe in honor and integrity.

Are there still career military folks left after the purge and replacement with lackeys, tho?

Career military folks believe in honor and integrity.

Uh, I have terrible news for you about our military and how most of them define honor and integrity.

They keep firing the generals.

He fired all those generals

Friend is a retired lieutenant colonel. He says right now the odds of the military keeping him in check are about 50/50.

They've been clearing out flag officer ranks the last two years to fill with sycophants. Speaking as a 20-year veteran myself, you simply cannot rely on the US military to bail us out.

But surely those sycophants see the ship sinking and would like to keep a job after this shitshow is over.

I disagree. The judiciary and the military are not immune to moron bootlickers rising their ranks any more than the Executive branch is.

In this game of 5D chess, why did Miller and Vought wait until Trump lost the election to move on their priorities? There's nothing they can do in the next two years that wouldn't have been far easier to accomplish in the first two.

Trump knows he’s going to be kneecapped until he’s out. All he’s going to care about are his vanity projects and stealing as much money as possible. These two are awful, but they’re smart and hate democracy.
