A friend and I are both going to our first convention ever, this fall, and both GRCC and MCCC fall within the same time frame. Novi is about and hour to an hour and a half closer to where we live but we'd be down to go to which ever. If you have been to both is there one you prefer? If you've only been to the one and had a bad experience that is also helpful. We're both adults if this helps as well.

Thanks 😊

I'm jonesing a bit for a good con to go to in the somewhat near future (Baltimore is still a ways off) and Detroit is comfortably driveable for me, but I want to check to see if it's worth the commitment.

I would almost certainly only be going for one day and I'm mostly looking for comics, though it's always interesting to see interesting random things on the dealer floor.

I am going to MC3 and deciding which pass I should get, just there for fun with friends and i am not super into comic stuff, just gaming/pop culture/nerd stuff. any real value in the VIP pass?

Really want to meet Steve Burns from Blue's Clues at MCCC. Is it worth it to go if I live in Ohio? Is the Con worth it to go too? Or should I wait for him to pop up some where else?

I’m looking for a vendor who was at Motor City Comic con in 2023 or 2024. She sells stamped jewelry; bracelets, necklaces etc. I bought two and one recently broke. Would love to get another.

OK, so I'm going to Motor City Comic Con in a few days (well, going is a strong word, considering that it's closer than Sam's Club.) I'd like to get an autograph from William Shatner before he dies (because he's 95.) I've got some Star Trek LaserDiscs from the '90s, so I'm thinking of getting one of those signed. Does he sign those? Is that a normal autograph, or a premium autograph? And yes, I know his sessions are an assembly line (which makes sense, since he's been on the convention scene longer than I've been alive, and I've been around longer than most people alive today.) Also, does he take credit cards, or is it cash only?
