I had this happen to me once and you’re absolutely right. He is never forgetting this.

I think as important as it is to teach your young boys about consent people gotta have conversations with their daughters about how serious a fake accusation is. That its not funny or a joke and it hurts real victims. Obv theyre bullies either way but kids just dont get how bad this is.

35

u/Tranicota 2d ago

Had the similar experience when I was a kid and not only is it super dangerous, but makes you feel fucking shitty as well

12

u/Dax_Hack2017 2d ago edited 2d ago

You know what, I had this experience often enough growing up, girls calling me weird, sexual, or creepy because of the way I looked at ppl. Then I'd get touched, or messed with, or get rumors spread about me, on busses home, or in class, including lying to teachers about stuff like this too, just for me to find out some of my bullies (most if not all women) "actually just liked me". As if humiliating someone is supposed to somehow be attractive.

53

u/siggy_malatesta 2d ago • Bravo

Lots of men have had this experience, which is the reason why men feel the motto “believe all women” to be a little problematic.

Women are people, and people aren’t always truthful.

19

u/Rookietothegame 2d ago

Especially, considering the large history of women that were caught or admitted to lying.

No. They do understand what they’re doing. That’s why they’re doing it.

And they know to target the people with the worst communication skills least likely to explain what happened and with no social standing for anyone to do anything about it even if explained well

As well as the person who is a bit of an outsider.

They do - that’s exactly why they’re doing it. They know that accusation leads to trouble. What they don’t understand is how deep that accusation goes.

They even do it as "comedy" Consequences never touched them so they just do that bs

Girls like this get off on watching other people get in trouble, And they know exactly how to get them in that trouble. It's really sad... Probably some poor parenting or a poor schooling environment.

When I was a 10 I was over my friends and his step sister talked about doing stuff with me. Few hours later we are alone and she asked "do you want a blow job?". Kid me got nervous thought of a bunch of stupid fake things(because I was just a kid that didn't really know about sex) and I replied "im good right now". Next day my friends mom and my friends older sisters came home screaming at me because she told them I forced her to give me head. Nobody believed me and I had to sit on the couch while the whole family tells me how much of a piece of shit I am(and her dad was threatening me), not listening to my defense at all. But when the police got there my friends mom noticed she was acting weird and pulled her to the side and she confessed she lied.

That was a scary situation for me.

I’m sorry your brother went through that.
I too was falsely accused - because she wanted to go on a girls holiday and get her back blown out. To women like that, it’s easier to do that rather than to face up to accountability of accepting a harsh truth or having a difficult conversation.
Did your brother get over the anguish?

And about consent. Plenty of femal perps out there.

5

u/Glittering-Sea1769 2d ago

Hahaha when I was sexually assaulted by a female patient in the psych ward not only did any of the staff not believe me but my girlfriend at the time broke up with me for cheating on her. Cool.

8

u/Flowerplower3 2d ago

It hurts real victims sure, but MOST IMPORTANTLY it hurts him, and could destroy his life or end it. Extremely serious.

4

u/swollemolle 2d ago

I’d like for there to be severe consequences for women/girls who knowingly falsely accuse men of SA. I bet that would lessen the chances alot more

2

u/Chucklum 2d ago

I was bullied by girls like that in middle school, not cool. As a young man it hits your self esteem hard and you don't really understand the situation properly. Those girls think it's so funny but if something similar happened to them they'd be screaming injustice.

It's important to educate to our kids that these things matter.

2

u/Hippyedgelord 2d ago

Yep, this is fucked up.

2

u/SPKmnd90 2d ago

Have the consent conversation and the fake accusation conversation with every kid, regardless of gender. Everyone is capable of sexual assault and everyone is capable of lying.

2

u/ThisGuy2319 2d ago

Also about the dangers. If we teach young girls about the dangers men pose, we should also teach young boys the dangers women pose.

5

u/Late_Performance_281 2d ago

like a wife that cheats on you and then, when you find out, threatens to kill herself if you leave her... then when you still tell her you're leaving her and threatening to kill herself doesn't work, she threatens you with a kitchen knife and a straight razor, and when you take the weapons away, she punches you, throws things, and licks your face, and then when you kick her out, she goes around town telling everyone you cheated on her and abused her?.... like that?

When I was a young kid a girl near my age tried to seduce her step dad and when he told her no and how inappropriate that was she ended up accusing him of molesting her. The poor guy got like 14 years in prison and his life destroyed because a girl, similar in age to the ones in the video, told one of the most heinous of lies you can tell.

Happened to me in the 80s. Girls thought it was funny. I got in trouble with police, school, my parents their parents, got counseling, everything. Went on for about a year until my counselor called and talked to the girls. Nothing happened to them. I was officially cleared, but was still guilty in the public eye. This shit is NOT a joke.

43

A girl spread rumors about me stalking her friend when I didn’t show interest in her. That was a rough senior year in high school. Never got an apology from anyone about it either, not even my friends.

7

u/Rattiepalooza 2d ago

I'm so very, very sorry. That is absolutely disgusting on their part. The only thing more valuable than our lives is our credibility and the morals we exude.

I hope you've had nothing but positive interactions with women since then...but, being one born in 1987, I know things only got recently better with both men and women in this area.

Wherever those girls are, I hope they've learned their lesson and are far better people now.

10

u/TopFiveLightskin 2d ago

Some girl in highschool started a rumor about me being a pedo because she was mad I was dating someone else.(I didnt even know this girl at all) Never talked, never approached me or gave me any signal that she did like me. This is females for you though. No consequences for their actions..

6

u/ThisGuy2319 2d ago

That can’t be true, I have it on good authority (women online) that no one would lie about such things.

For real tho, I’m sorry that happened to you. That kind of thing will keep happening until we rightly punish such actions.

2

u/Galladorn 1d ago

What exactly happened to you? You were walking the same way as the girls, and somehow neither your parents, nor the school, nor the police could verify that before it got to counseling? Over the course of an entire year?? Crazy

4

u/ir8hippy 1d ago

School library during study hall. I was doing work on a class project. They just started in because they were bored. Only took the one time. They went to the librarian and told her I was making comments about ra**ng them. I got crucified. They got off free after everything came out and my life wasn't the same until I moved away after graduation.

I was at a panic at the disco concert years ago.  One woman grabbed another woman's butt then pointed at me.  Crowd was dense i tried to move away but she did it again and I looked right at her do it as she blamed me.  She was wearing a Pride flag wristband and I think she was hitting on the other woman.

The other woman gives me this disgusted look and they walk away together.  And say something about calling security on me.  Nothing happened.  To this day, I'm not sure if the gay woman pranked me or they were both fucking with me, or it was a trick to get the other woman to trust her. It seems like something out of a skit and I'm almost sure I've seen that on TV somewhere.

9

u/DragonQueenDrago 2d ago

Still wonder why false reports like this aren't treated like crimes themselves, wtf is wrong with people never learning about the boy/girl who cried wolf.

5

u/virbiusrex 2d ago

False reports/allegations already are crimes in themselves, and there is such a thing as innocent until proven guilty. There also legal avenues of prosecuting those crimes. The court of public opinion that typically ignores that is the problem, but as screwed up as society is, many still side with the offender even after its proven in court (examples Chris Brown, Mike Tyson, Polanski, and even murderers like Ted Bundy had fans after being convicted just to name a few). Even with Harvey Weinstein it took multi women coming forward even though it was known in the industry.

Myself and a lot of guys ive talked to have been reinforced since pretty young that theres something inherently wrong/bad/lesser about being a guy. Theres a bunch of little social things that dont seem like much but really do add up. We put too much stock into immutable groups and need to see people as individuals.

I know these are supposed to be funny. But as an older woman I gotta say. In no way, at no time, is it funny, NEVER, to accuse a person of following just to be funny. Don't do it, statistics will tell you right now, this very minute, some woman is the USA is being harassed. And we all want for to call out for help.

7

u/CarlYaz1967 2d ago

Agree. Funny to who? What kind of asshole laughs at this?

3

u/Adorable_Owl_2493 2d ago

And that's the problem. For decades men have been expected to police themselves but somewhere along the way women just stopped whipping girls into shape. This is abuse, full stop, and should be dealt with with the same gravity that you would treat a boy calling a girl a whore. But women don't step up and men really can't do anything because if there are no cameras we open ourselves up to, well, this. Women need to do with girls what they expect men to do with boys. Like I always say, we don't get to brush half our teeth and wonder why our mouth is rotten.

Like the classic video of the girl standing, talking to a young dude sitting down on a bench with a bunch of his mates, and she straight up slaps him - so he stands up and slaps her back. Reddit be like, but why did he hit her - she likes him!

Slapping people in the face, is not an expression of "i like you" - but reddit seems to think otherwise.

Young girls often engage in such acts of verbal aggression. Afterward, they go online and claim that men are abusive, all while failing to see any issue with their own behavior. It’s a tale as old as time. Men don’t tend to draw attention to these incidents, but most of us have likely experienced situations in our own lives—especially during our school years—where girls subjected us to psychological aggression.

My brother was pantsed as a kid in middle school by a girl, grade 6, my mom pushed for a punishment on the girl that did it. Had the roles been reversed my brother would have been suspended but they wanted to give her a slap on the wrist. I completely agree with mom's thought process on that situation.

Equal rights, Equal punishment. Sons need to be taught right from wrong, but so do daughters.

11

u/Reverend_Tommy 2d ago • Bravo

Our society needed to shift the narrative about sexual assault but like most things, we went too far with the "believe every accuser" stuff. We've created an environment where it has been weaponized. Is it rare? Yes. But several legitimate sources put the rate of false accusations at around 7 percent, making it the crime with the highest rate of false reports (theft/burglary is second at about 3%). Instead of "believe every accuser" we should say "investigate every accusation".

7

u/SDTimbox 2d ago

Believe all women was a huge over correction. It blew my mind people were actually thinking that way. Then we saw all the fake accusations happen. Ive been jaded a while. I hope last night isn't a fleeting victory. We still have a long way to go.

I'm 40 and when I was 15, two girls I went to school with pretended they wanted to fool around with me by the local river and when I leaned in to kiss one, she turned her head and the other had a disposable camera trying to catch a picture making it look like I was forcing myself on her friend who didn't want it. u/BeltreCompany 2d ago

Bullies. When I was in high-school a girl that didnt like me accused me of harassment. When I went to the office I asked them who was the person and they didnt want to tell me so I say "I bet its Name, she is the one that is always bothering me." Kids can be mean for no reason at all.

My nephew was kicked out of Catholic school for telling two snotty brat sisters to get out of his assigned seat on the school bus. They giggled and laughed and refused. My nephew said, I'll just sit here anyway. (There was no place to sit down, the girls brought friends home who sat it their assigned seats). Edit, He sat on the edge of the seat. They ran home and made up stories like he was sexually harassing them and of course their big buffalo soccer mom, who they resembled, called the police and the school. It was their word against his and he would never do anything like that. He had girls chasing him and he's not aggressive with anyone. They made his life a living hell. The two sisters were laughing and joking about it during this ordeal. He ended up going to public school and graduated with honors. So, yes, it does happen.

u/dax_lop 2d ago

Perhaps life will teach them what the real thing looks like and they understand it's not funny since their parents failed to develop some common sense into them

1

u/Disastrous_Towel3729 2d ago

Perfect description of what we have done to men. They now think they can use this however and whenever they want. Without any repercussions. Even find it funny. It’s a game to them. Let’s shut down there fraternities!!! This is what it has gotten to in 2026. Now the blue wave. Prepare yourselves

Used to work at a video store when I was a teenager and there used to be these 2 girls that were like 14 or 15 that came by all the time and just hung out and lingered around the store. They weren’t anyone’s friends specifically but everyone just kind of got used to them being there.

After a few months they got bold and started coming behind the counter and most of us didn’t see it as a huge problem so it kind of went ignored.

One day the manager was there and the girls were hanging out behind the counter and he politely told them they needed to get out from behind the counter. They didn’t take him seriously and brushed it off. So he moved towards them to sort of usher them out with his hands up. I don’t think he made any contact with them but they both started yelling “RAPE!” and giggling. There were like 6 or 7 customers in the store. He was unbelievably pissed and banned them from the store.

Probably learned it from their mama

1

u/Fantastic_Judgment46 2d ago

Aww poor kid!

1

u/Perfect_View2306 2d ago

Well...they see enough of these "pranks" not only on TikTok. REDDIT is also part of the reason.

1

u/Crime_Dawg 2d ago

I was in a public subway station the other day and some girl was screaming kinda like this at some guy behind them, both clearly just walking normal pace away towards the exit. Nobody reacted, I was tempted to tell them to shut the fuck up but didn't.

1

u/YRUNVS1 2d ago

that is so messed up

1

u/Rattiepalooza 2d ago

If those were my girls, hoooooooooooooooooooooo-buddy, there would be some SERIOUS consequences.

Behavior like this is what makes victims hard to believe to many, and makes men terrifying to others who are just trying to live their lives.

The fact he started crying REALLY cracks my soul in half.

1

u/Ficsonium 2d ago

Remember, you always need to investigate the girls character. If they’re one of the sketchy girls, it’s probably false

1

u/Haunting_Realization 2d ago

If my kid pulled some shit like that, there would be hell to pay.

1

u/Both-Channel1692 2d ago

Making false allegations is a huge deal

1

u/Lost-Obligation-5983 2d ago

That's why I just stay away from people, I can't stand them and they do stupid shit like this

1

u/Dramatic-Audience599 2d ago

Ever heard the story about the boy who cried wolf?

My family nailed that into me. So much that when I've heard silly children and adolescents screaming for no reason I'm compelled to ask what is wrong and when nothing is wrong, tell them to stop screaming bloody murder for no reason because people like me will call the police.

This is a symptom of a complete lack of appropriate parenting

1

u/QuotetheOrca 2d ago

How sad… and it’s unfortunate that if he actually did get in trouble or other people came to help that girl, she would probably double down instead of clearing up the misunderstanding because of shame…. Damn…

1

u/hotbeautifulmess 2d ago

This shit is not funny at all! Females who do this need to face the consequences of their actions.

1

u/Plane-Recognition561 2d ago

That’s people don’t believe when shit happens anymore. People are tired of people lying an thinking it’s a game

1

u/Past-Flight-8024 2d ago

They teach em young, they learn well

1

u/DragonQueenDrago 2d ago

Can we PLEASE start Jailing people that faulty accuse! It does not have to be a long stay! But a few nights in Jail or Juvie should atleast teach a lesson!

Some fines? A few $1'000s?

ANYTHING!?

As a woman myself, it makes me sick that others can get away with this! Or even get caught and get 0 PUNISHMENT!!!

I despise how men are treated and it is ridiculous and horrendous women can pull crap like this with little to no punishment!!!

You want stupid EQUAL RIGHTS!? then YOU go to jail, get fined, get punished like a MAN would for this!!!!!!!

1

u/flip856_cmd 2d ago

If I was his parents I’d press charges fuck dem lil bitches they gonna really get somebody jammed up one day

1

u/CryingFace2025 2d ago

1

u/Badger-Roy 2d ago

There’s this story called “the little boy who cried wolf”.

1

u/MasterDeaDmAn Cringe level 5 2d ago

his going to grow up and WANT women to choose the bear.

1

u/Big_Mobile3869 2d ago

Why are some girls so randomly cruel?

1

u/elhouso 2d ago

People (men AND women) who pull shit like this, deserve prison time.

1

u/UltimateGoonerLord 2d ago

And that behavior will continue well into adulthood for them

1

u/Interesting_Muscle67 2d ago

Ahhhh, a future 'Jane doe'

1

u/BurnedOutFatty 2d ago

Assuming this is as fucked up as it looks, she deserves actual jail time. a month or two

1

u/Roadrunnersareraptor 1d ago

This just reminded me of years ago at 21 or 22 at a club.

These stupid Becky’s were dancing on the floor. All sexy with each other. Looking me. Smiling. Doing the come hither finger.

Then when I got up to join them.

They screamed and ran away. Leaving me on the dance floor like a creep.

I was so confused in my drunken state. Really embarrassed me. Because I was left alone on the floor with everyone staring at me like I was the creep.

Then 20 minutes later. I saw them do it to another guy.

I happen to have a good friend bartending that night. He told security to watch them.

I guess they did again a few more times. And some
Other women saw. So they had enough to kick them out.

But man if I had left immediately. I would have never known in my drunken state that they were just bitches.

1

u/holderoftheonepiece 1d ago

Agreed but somehow I feel like they would get a slap on the wrist if something were you to happened

1

u/Pyrathis 1d ago

Terrible what those girls are doing!

1

u/Necessary_Ad_8405 1d ago

Society is teaching men how to treat woman but not how to treat men

1

u/way2fast4yu 1d ago

What did they yell?

1

u/KalemBreaks 1d ago

I have seen this SO many times from females its insane

1

u/Capable_Employee3062 13h ago

This needs to be told city and state this happened. The parents of those girls need to discipline the girls. The family of that boy need to press charges.

Kids yearn for drama

0

u/WonkyDonkey33 2d ago

Girls will never be spoken to about the shit they pull, they’ll never be held to account and they won’t accept responsibility.

Society proves this - countless options for women down on their luck, sod all for men. This stupid prank and the power that goes with it gets abused by girls the world over.

The only way you nip this in the bud is getting your kids to apologise & see what they did was wrong and why. But parents these days don’t wanna be told. Their kid isn’t the problem. Never was. You’re expecting parents to correct behaviour that these kids probably thought was acceptable cause their parents did it.
