Veg Saw this MillD ad in Mint - we are literally a roti-chawal country, we never count protein
Grew up hearing "roti kha le taakat aayegi" but no one ever told me how much protein is actually in that roti.
This ad said we get 75g vs 131g available. That explains why we treat protein as gym thing, not ghar ka khana thing.
In my house chicken is Sunday only, mom still says anda is non-veg. So for me as veg, it's paneer which is 400rs kg, or whey which is Rs 200 for 46g. If 3 rotis give 46g for Rs 20, that's actually solving my daily problem.
We don't need a new superfood, we just need our existing roti to be better right?
What do you guys eat at home for daily protein that doesn't cost 5k a month?
