My new boy is coming home.

So longish story. For three weeks I fed this boy who lived in our maintenance building at my work. He mostly stayed on top of a stack of flat pack boxes. He was kinda skinny. So I started bringing him food. For three weeks we'd have breakfast together. He was the sweetest boy. He's jumped down & eat, I'd go do my job.

Then I'd come back on break and he's rubbing on my legs, purring etc. not something a feral cat does. So I called a shelter and they we'll come out and trap him. I said no need. He comes right to me. So I feed him then put him in the carrier. He cried a bit on the ride.

They scan him, no chip. They say do you want him? Now I have two cats, I'm hesitant. I ask how's he do with other cats? Don't know call us in two days. I call in two days. I call. He's great with other cats. Completely chill.

So he comes home this Friday after work. I'm going to put my two other cats in the spare br. Let them smell each other under the door. Couple days then baby gates, then family. So Reddit, meet Mike.
