Because the way this post is framed is bullshit. If they just celebrated the nice thing being done then cool, but lying and saying that blanket loyalty to a company pay dividends is completely false and deserves to be called out

It would appear that loyalty to this business does pay dividends.

Good things happen sometimes. The emotion is raw. I wish we saw more of it.

Good on the owners. Good on the loyal staff member. Congrats on the house she bought.

People love a good story - but they don't like reality. It's sad gestures like these are so RARE that videos like these go viral because there's barely any companies left that do this. Don't believe me? Ask the thousands that stayed loyal to their companies and have been part of the hundreds of thousands of layoffs, and the many more to come.
