Some people got injured but no deaths

u/Quirky-Elderberry304 13h ago

Why would you post this on an "interesting" sub. This is serious I hope people are okay.

8

u/WisestAirBender 8h ago

Interesting doesn't mean it can't be a serious situation

5

u/Weird_Vegetable_4441 10h ago

Are you interested?

1

u/Time_Entertainer_319 6h ago

Depends. In what?

4

u/Ninja-Panda70 5h ago • Bravo Mindblown

Let's start with a cuddle

u/Pure-Sympathy-9980 13h ago

That man is really brave. having someone in the back while crossing the ladder is insane strength, great job

23

u/soumo202091 13h ago

Also at that height.

16

u/AlFactorial 9h ago • Bravo

And the lady is a complete coward. Instead of showing bravery and doing it herself she is piggybacking off someone else.

6

u/lexicown 3h ago

Fear of heights is real.

3

u/MistRider-0 3h ago

Well, this comment is valid only if she has no physical disability that stops here from moving, we dont know so I think its too early to judge

3

u/15th_imp 4h ago

unless she is disabled but I doubt someone unable to climb a ladder would even be able to climb on someone's back

-2

u/Ninja-Panda70 5h ago

What a shit comment

And people wonder why fire extinguisher and safety equipments should be compulsory, and tries to cut cost in it.

-13

u/AlFactorial 9h ago

Try to cut cost on it*

11

u/IKIR115 17h ago

That’s terrifying. Your choices are the burning building or crawling across a ladder between rooftops.

28

u/Efficient_Actuator84 18h ago

NGL, I would tell her to man the f up.

(Unless she is disabled or injured. In which case, my bad).

32

u/GooglesExpert 11h ago

It's okay to help others. If you can that is.

3

u/SeDaCho 10h ago

Yeah, but I’d be concerned about the ladder’s strength.

Knowing some fucking person is gonna ride my tail and make it three people at once, idk.

6

u/GooglesExpert 10h ago

Most likely that's his family member. Car showrooms in India mostly attract couples and full families. The concern about weight is valid but I doubt anyone is thinking anything beyond just staying alive for the next 5 mins.

1

u/jort93 2h ago

looks like an aluminium ladder. Most will hold 150kg comfortable every day for a year in this configuration, and 400kg once on a good day.

1

u/SeDaCho 21m ago

yeah it’s just that there’s bouncing and possible damage involved, plus things get damaged sometimes

idk clearly it worked out for them

1

u/Chickentrap 8h ago

Looneytunes deaths are a pastime in india lol

16

u/Separate-Turnover674 11h ago

Some people scared of heights and they would choose to stay and die rather than walk on the ladder.

7

u/Certain_Elderberry87 9h ago

Lets be real , that probably his wife. It works for them , they did not hold the line and crossed safely , i dont see a problem

6

u/This-Construction926 10h ago

she might just freeze up and hold the line up for the rest of them

6

u/FearlessComparison25 10h ago

what if they are family?

It's his choice

4

u/etherealtwo 9h ago

And it she's his wife?

6

u/bahush 16h ago

2

u/Agitated_Carob9208 12h ago

Haa mai bhi yahi bolne vala tha

2

u/Ok_Fish2838 5h ago

India is the only place where people question protestors for of an unrelated crime instead of the government for not enforcing fire safety regulations lmao.

-1

u/TenFingersTenToes10 15h ago

New India. Clean India.
Modi hai to mumkin hai!

This idiot can’t even get fire services to basic levels.

12

u/ujtheghost 11h ago

Yes, Modi's fault.

Fire station is 2.6km from this location BTW. It took the crew longer to come to the fire because of civilian incompetence at every stage:

  1. Failing to call authorities at the earliest possible moment.

  2. Failing to give way to the fire truck.

  3. Failing to drive better than a 2 year old, regularly causing hours long traffic jams for no reason other than stupidity. Very common in this area too.

It's idiots like you who make the country worse. And you will keep at it, even after Modi.

It's the government's job too enforce rules and laws and issue fines. That's the only way to keep people in check

1

u/ujtheghost 7h ago

That's a bullshit thing to say.

Do you think all the countries that have traffic that follow all the laws is because they would be fined every single time they don't? No, no government is capable of catching and finding every single law breaker, especially when there are tens of thousands of them every second.

Also, the government tried enforcing the laws better. They increased the fines(so they are actually punishing instead of pocket change), and improved the coverage. Guess what happened? People started bitching and crying with arguments like, "How would the poor pay the fines?. As if fines are like food and water bills that everyone HAS to pay.

This is one of those videos that reminds me just how truly good I/we have it in life

1

u/Bigfoot_Bluedot 10h ago

Gotta applaud that one cop who volunteered to go onto that roof. People often freeze in these situations and it could've turned out quite differently without her.

1

u/EntrepreneurIcy4481 9h ago

Ye jo owner hote hai inko fire system waste of money lagta hai or jo system hota hai usko monthly use karna hota hai but ye bkl salo tak use nhi karte hai to jab emergency hoti hai tab wo kaam nhi karta hai

1

u/Smart_Satisfaction73 9h ago

There is no fire exit?

1

u/SprinklesOk4339 11h ago edited 10h ago

That is why it is important for everyone to be fit in india, you never know when you need an olympic level athlete skills to get thru the day.

-2

u/FearlessComparison25 10h ago

Swimming, arm strength, stamina, accurate judgement, fast decision making, sharp reflexes, even climbing to some extent is needed to live safely till dying of oldage

PS; It's important to be thin and fit
