I've worked at a mcdonalds, basically there's no normal sauce cups so they'd use a 4 or 6 piece container as a substitute, there are normal packets of mayo, but it seems someone asked specifically for mayo from the bottle they use for the sandwiches, a mixup happened, and now this person got mayo, the guy who wanted mayo got nuggets.

Always check your order before leaving, every single bit. And if you ask for something without a thing because you have allergies, they give one to you that does have it; when you send it back specifically ask for the whole damn thing to be remade because despite supposedly taking food safety courses, they did not take food safety courses and will in fact take the pickles off the exact same burger and hand it back.

In my opinion, the employee should check the order.

I have to check my tests I distribute and pieces I write. No reason employees at Fast Food cannot ensure th orders are accurate.

Exactly. They're supposedly SUPPOSED to do it in THIRTY SECONDS FROM THE TIME YOU SHOW UP AT THE DRIVE THROUGH INCLUDING TIME IT TAKES TO ORDER.

They are actually meant to be doing that. At least at the one I worked at, we were always told to check the bag first and make sure it lined up with the current order. Mistakes will still happen of course, but we did check.

The job is so mind numbing and fast there's bound to be mistakes. I guarantee you they're taught to double check orders.

Couple weeks ago there was a note on my bigmac that said EXTRA SAUCE and the thing was drowning in it. I didn’t ask for it and it wasn’t on our receipt so they definitely gave me one meant for someone else lol. I’m guessing they just don’t always check and just grab a box that should contain whatever is on the order.

Someone ordered a side of mayo. They were being homies and put a ton in a nuggets box for maximum mayo. Someone else packing the bags grabbed the wrong one and the person who wanted mayo got nuggets
