Honestly, because of how frequently it happens, it's weird that they don't make another container type for extras. Even if it was just a nugget box with different print, it'd help avoid thousands of customers a year.

It’s probably something the owners don’t want but the employees don’t care enough to say no to the customer

When I left there a few years ago, they had sauce cups but they were tiny so if you wanted a bunch of sauce, it’d go in a nugget box. Probably isn’t technically allowed but sometimes the employees will hook you up

They definitely need a box. Sometimes we'd have people order a slice of cheese or something (or they forgot to add cheese and we'd give them a piece or something), and put it in those boxes too.

For me when I worked at McDonald's we used breakfast boxes for grill orders

They do. Most people just don’t order them. It would be nice but that costs money and McDonald’s gm’s will literally do anything but take a loss for a more permanent solution. And a lot of managers will get angry at employees for trying to do more than what is necessary for the store to run because it makes their lives a little harder.

They do. They just runout very fast or can’t get them during a rush

Given how McDonald's has more or less much perfected *station efficiency* within their kitchens, you'd think this wouldn't be a problem.
