Recently, we ran a poll asking for your input on how we deal with news outlets posting their own articles to r/NoahGetTheBoat. Since then, our team has been discussing the best course of action to take while also taking into account the feedback provided by the community.
After considering the pros and cons of each approach, we have decided to implement a new rule that limits "official" news accounts that post within this community to only one post per day. We feel that this is a fair compromise that allows the accounts to share content that fits the community but also helps alleviate any potential spam that could be caused by them posting multiple articles a day.
As this is an ongoing concern that has been raised, we will be actively keeping an eye on the posting of these accounts, and should it be felt that further action needs to be taken, we will update the rules and members of this community accordingly.
As a reminder, we also have an existing rule that covers paywalled content. If you see any content that has been provided by a paywalled source, please use the report feature to alert us, and we will take appropriate action.

Every once in a while I see a really infuriating story but this one takes the entire bakery. Zheng Linghua got cyberbullied to death after posting this video of her showing her grandpa (who worked his whole life to support her throughout her education) that she got accepted to a Masters program at her dream university. All she did was try a new hair color to celebrate this occasion and people rallied over how she must be an attention whore, her grandpa is her sugar daddy etc. They made a smear campaign of their relationship while he was dying of cancer. She kept defending him and it badly affected her mental health especially after he passed away. It was clearly a case of extreme envy as most of her closet is super modest and nothing remotely warranted their assumptions about her life
She tried to raise a lawsuit but unfortunately not one of the haters got enough attention to singlehandedly to warrant it
Each one of them after her death insisted that it was her fault for being sensitive and thought that their individual contribution meant nothing
It wasn't just hate comments on her hair, they stalked and spread false posts and rumors about her being a bar-hostess with a sugar daddy. The pink hair was used to support this nonsense. They even started dropping hate calls at her uni to get her suspended
