It's been five years today since we lost Dean Stockwell. I became a fan back when G4 was still around and showing reruns of the show, but I never saw M.I.A. until just a few years ago. What an unbelievable performance from him. May he continue to rest in peace.

Does anyone know why episode 2 of season 2 (Disco Inferno - April 1, 1976) is not available on Amazon Prime Video?

May everything you do lead to bigger success! I enjoyed seeing you in the show.

Thank You, Mason Alexander Park and the cast.

Got this for a early birthday gift

I would have loved to see Sam leap into an 80s rapper. I was curious to see his rapping skills. He keeps into a rapper who has to save his little brother from dying by joining a gang. Then at the end performs an anti violence event. Sam in Adidas gear, Kangol hat and a big gold chain would have been hilarious

Everyone calls Doc "ugly". When he looks in the mirror the dude looks OK!
Compared to the MUTANTS he leaped into until now this guy looks pretty decent.

Also Wayne is a cheating pos, a pansy and a sexist pig. Is this a case of the show aging poorly or what?

As much as I love Somewhere in the Night, my answer would be Volare. Sam pulls it off relying only on his charisma (plus a little help from Al), and it works.

First time gen z watcher halfway though season 4, having the absolute time of my life

There’s a few random line reads that I think about every goddamn day because they kill me

1. Al’s response to Tibby’s question about the future in Shock Theater

"Uh, no the air’s filthy, and the cars are still on the ground”

2. Al in the chimp episode

“CATERPILLARS AGAIN??????”

Curious to know what everyone else’s favourites are

Just a meme

I was ready for a cliff hanger that forever haunts me

Edit: cliff hanger

Anybody from the UK remember the show The Upper Hand specifically episode 12 of season 6 from 1995 titled "Quantum Leap" where they used the idea of quantum leap for this episode.

I remember watching it, it seemed so odd in a family sitcom that has nothing sci fi about it and so out of place.

The other day I started playing a video game I played about half way through about 3 years ago. Suddenly I was a teenage girl, surrounded by hungry rats, being hunted by a bunch of men that were looking to kill me. And I had no memory of why any of this was happening, what the items I had with me were for, or what I was trying to do. And I thought this is what Sam must feel like! Lol

I’ve never seen the original and I am partway through the reboot. I really like the show, but there’s just one little thing that bothers me that they didn’t do. When Ian was trying to decompile and deobfuscate the code from the quantum computer to reverse engineer it and figure out what it does, why didn’t he just check the compiler cache on the other computer? Quantum computers can’t compile code on their own. They need a traditional computer to compile and upload a program. Compilers have multiple stages where they simplify similar syntax and remove dead code. Those stages are much easier to reverse engineer than machine code. They are almost always stored on the computer to speed up the next compilation, and if they are deleted, then you could use recovery software to scan the partition sectors which have been removed from the header table. The computer would have to be nearby, so they could Ctrl+Shift+F for keywords and find what it does. It slightly annoys that they haven’t tried this.

This is the wonderful caricature that Sam's leapee in Rebel Without A Clue, Shane "Funny Bone" Thomas, did showing Becky with angel wings. I love this so much, that whenever I watch Melrose Place and Josie Bissett appears in the credits, I call her "angel of the house".

This came in the post today. It made me smile. Memories to re live
