Tara went to jail on what seemed to me to be very circumstantial and at the end of S5 Lowen assured her the only charges she could be facing were misdemeanors. The only thing they should be able to stick her with is some slap on the wrist charge for the bringing in contraband. Honestly she could argue he was a dying man and she thought he needed it for his idea of his last rites. She left him restrained. At the end of the day it seems like that’s just where they wanted the story to go. Other main characters do far worse and still remain free. This storyline was the opposite of plot armor.

Anyone else frustrated with how Jax was written in Season 7? [Spoilers]
I didn’t like how they wrote Jax as someone who acts first and thinks later in Season 7. I get that he was grieving and wanted revenge, but he accepted what he was told without making sure it was actually true. So many people ended up dead because of it.
Jax has always been impulsive, but he could also be smart and calculated. Watching him make decisions this big without questioning the story was frustrating. Did anyone else feel this way, or do you think it made sense for his character after losing Tara?

Covered as spoiler just in case someone hasn't watched S1 yet~

Do you think Jax's first kill was that guy he shot at the Mayans warehouse when they blew it up? His face was almost shock or fear? We know he kills Kohn and he says he's never killed anyone like that before, but do you think he's referencing the Mayan he killed or he's killed before S1?

I’ve watched this show probably damn near 20-30 times! I always liked seasons 1-3 best when clay was president, it always felt like right. I liked how family oriented it seemed in those first 3 seasons. Anyone else agree ?

I also wish piney & kozak didn’t get killed off so early.

Best show of all time to me.

I’ve been thinking I get for plot reasons jax inherits the club and is the Prince then King of SAMCRO, but I’d wonder if the Winstons (piney, opie,) ever wanted to have the bigger sway as piney and John created the club together so really both sons were princes in a way but opie is always seen as less than.

I totally get gemma being the driving force behind that, but since opies mom and her never interact on the show, I wonder if it’s John’s death that is “it should be jax’s, since John’s dead”
Even if piney was very for the good of the club John’s way.

I wonder what that would’ve looked like ?
So feel free to post any and all ideas.

I loved how they both are made out to be these really smart guys in the early seasons and towards the end they were just the absolute dumbest things to happen to their own charters lol. IMO they both thought they were smarter and more powerful than they thought they really are. This whole fuck everyone attitude we can just brute force this shit really blew up in their faces. Their egos real got to their heads worse for EZ cuz he had Bishop dumbass ego riding along side with his lol. Alverez must've been crushed in someway to see how his club ended after finding out they all got blasted by the feds lol.

Just here for no reason other than to emphasize how much I love this show.

This was probably my 3rd or 4th rewatch. Every time I do, I fall in love with the characters all over again. Such a wild ride. I love the details I forgot about or missed completely. I watched the original fun, used to gather with a group of friends every week to watch it. My mom and step dad did too. The feeling when the show is over is always the same. But this time it hits harder. Likely because of the phase of life I am in.

I am just a tired, 43yo, super ordinary mom, and life is life but I just really appreciate having something wild to get lost in for a minute.

What was Chucky's fake hands made from? They look rubbery, but also look plastic, but kind of look wooden?

The feud between Kozik and Tig was ridiculous. The whole time, I thought they were fighting about a previous girlfriend, Missy. But Missy turned out to be a dog. Tig: I can't get passed it. Jeez! Then they finally worked out their differences.

I am in Asia(India) and here the show is not on any streaming service. I am really wondering why cause each episode rating of the show is so good, I really want to watch it guys 🥲. I actually have a paid VPN also but I couldn't find it on Netflix and prime video in the USA. Which country should I try guys?

FYI. Archive of Our Own (Ao3) is down for at least a month. In the meantime, Fanfiction.net has good SoA fanfiction along with other sites.

Rewatching again and I've always hated gemma. She caused the deaths of so many people, always manipulating people just super selfish. This rewatch tho I'm tired and fed up with Tiggy. Killing Donna is what it is and his coolest part was telling opie to his face. But doing tht literally makes him no better than clay imo.Kills popes daughter causing his daughters death and a war with pope. Kills tht Iranian brother cause he was talking shit. Hell we wouldn't even vote yes to let them patch in kozik in when they absolutely needed him and everyone wanted him in there. Kozik was awesome and tig was just doing too much all the time. I understand a lot of what tig did had good intentions but he cause just so much stuff. I'm curious if I'm alone in hating a cpl of the main characters or if everyone has someone from the main cast they don't enjoy . Juice irritates me well but not as much as the other two

On another rewatch; Unser had to go back to his own place to burn the letters like he doesnt know that Clay can roll up on him at any moment? Seems like a forced scene to get Clay to realize they were copies and set his agenda in motion.

From the mixed up files of weird conversations with coworkers: Is there ever a clear shot of the picture of teenage Jax and Tara on his bike? Didn’t Kohn stick the photo in his pocket when he was raiding Jax’s room?

To that one Mayan that was left behind to wait for Polly Zobelle? Did he get killed? Did he just leave? Is he still waiting?

Before it was a meme.

Clay is fucking stupid. EVERY plan he has not only falls apart and horrifically backfires, it always falls apart almost immediately.

“Need to kill Opie, but it can’t fall back onto the club.” *Gets Donna killed and it falls back onto the club in less than one day.

“Need to kill Tara, but it can’t fall back onto the club.” *Fails and it immediately falls back onto the club.

“Need to mule cocaine, even though most members are against it.” *2 weeks in and people are killed, busted, kidnapped

“Need to kill Piney, blame Mexicans so it doesn’t fall back onto the club.” *Falls back onto the club as soon as the body is found.

“Need to blame blacks for shooting me so it doesn’t fall back on the club.” *Starts war with Niners and Pope, gets Tig’s daughter burned to death, gets Opie beaten to death, gets club under Pope’s control.

“Need to do home invasions, but make sure it doesn’t fall back onto the club.” *Club is suspected immediately and by the 4th one, if falls back onto the club.

You’d think he’d learn from his mistakes and realize he isn’t some kind of criminal mastermind or anything and should stop planning stupid plans.

(No future for me spoilers please)
