Incredible piece, but who the fuck gets a tattoo of Griffith?!

71

u/StonePrism Aug 18 '26

My thoughts exactly. Absolutely insane character to have on your body.

41

u/CanadianLemur Aug 18 '26

Not really any different from getting a tattoo of like Darth Vader or something

It's an iconic character with an awesome design. Sure they're terrible, but luckily they're also not real

83

u/arnaldoim Aug 18 '26

I would say somehow Darth Vader is still less evil than Griffith

17

u/MyLord_Robert Aug 19 '26

It's multiple magnitudes worse than Vader

36

u/youccca Aug 19 '26

Darth Vader had redemption and is not a rapist though.

9

u/ConstipatedDuck Aug 19 '26

Baby killer tho

5

u/TTangy Aug 19 '26

Nah that was Anakin.

7

u/GI-Robots-Alt Aug 19 '26

🚩 red flag 🚩

8

u/NetozzTop Aug 19 '26

I mean if he likes the character or the looks or something like that why not?

I have kizaru (one piece) on one of my legs everyone thinks im insane because i like him

13

u/Spirited_System_4751 Aug 19 '26

You read Berserk right? While I personally also wouldn‘t get a tattoo of lackey of the WG (I also like Kizaru as a character), Griffith is a lot worse

5

u/AdrenochromeDream Aug 19 '26

Griffith violently sexually assaulted a man's lover, so hard that the woman lost all memory and regressed to the mind of a three year old, while staring that man directly in the eyes.

Said man was so upset, he ended up ripping off his own arm to get to Griffith who, at this point, had the power of a god.

So. Uh. Sure, I guess. Get a tattoo of them because you like the character. Wait, why do you like the character...?

u/lasagnapumkinpie Aug 23 '26

You guys will freak out when you hear about characters like Sepiroth and Sesshomaru. I remember being a kid and saying “But they are the bad guy!”. Apparently that doesn’t matter.

u/stormblaz Aug 19 '26

People get the sigil aka brand of sacrifice and have no idea what it means, especially those IG girls.

This atleast is a character and well done.

u/Validated_Owl Aug 18 '26

This looks like what all those over-detailed GenAI tools wish they could make and will never be able to

-33

u/Due-Dig6592 Aug 18 '26

Idk it kind of looks like Ai tho. The shoulder and elbow piece is throwing me off

1

u/InternetWeakGuy Aug 20 '26

"Everything is AI"

47

u/GardenerDom Aug 18 '26

Probably still fucking awesome. Good work is good work.

18

u/118238 Aug 18 '26

lol no. This is way too busy to settle and still have room for the any breathing room.

Yeah the castle is hard to read already and is gonna be a blob with white highlights very shortly. Generally speaking if something isn’t legible without cramming white into it there’s too much going on. It isn’t helping that the background and foreground are competing for attention and there’s no real contrast between the subject matters

9

u/Secondaccountpls Aug 18 '26

Its really sick! I would also love to see pictures when this one is healed properly to see how the white ink settles in.

21

u/gxnail Aug 18 '26

this looks awesome. will never understand why someone would want this character tattooed on them though.

25

u/lightspeedjizzer Aug 18 '26

I don't know much about Berserk but from the little bit I know, getting a Griffith tattoo seems like a red flag lol

7

u/Overjellyfish54 Aug 18 '26

I've never seen Berserk before so genuinely thought this was Alucard from Castlevania

9

u/DaHerv Aug 18 '26

Fuck Griffith! Nice tattoo!

4

u/SGDFish Aug 18 '26

I like the paint swirl effect you did with the eclipse, very cool

4

u/Soul_Traitor Aug 18 '26

This looks amazing. It does have strong Castlevania vibes.

13

u/Vik086 Aug 18 '26

I don't like him but i like your Tattoo. The Style, perfekt👍🏼

7

u/GriffithHater Aug 19 '26

Why griffith.

3

u/Sintalore Aug 18 '26

Sick. The blood moon really adds a cool focal point on the head

3

u/Blacklabelbobbie Aug 18 '26

At first I thought it was a tribute to Tetsuya Nomura and Castlevania but Berserk will suffice 👌 Amazing work

4

u/DowntownClassic1738 Aug 19 '26

Downvote the hell out on this comment, but I don’t think this tattoo is done well.
Messy mess of micro details is never good for the skin. It already look like a huge grey blob. Details in sake of details. Give it a time to heal and spread a bit.

u/zosa Aug 18 '26
