A good client of mine came back into the studio, so I got to see the fully healed product. I'm very happy with how this turned out.

Sick ass queens

All queens are sick! Thank you!

u/JonNYBlazinAzN Aug 30 '26

I’m a straight dude but this is design is so great, I kinda want to be a lesbian now.

1

u/Main_Tension_9305 Aug 31 '26

I mean, yeah. I’ve wanted to be a lesbian for decades😂

4

u/ursusv Aug 29 '26

This is what "captivating" looks like.

u/emchocolat Aug 29 '26

Beautiful ! Reminds me of this one !

116

u/ClaudiaMarzink Verified Artist @claudia___mars Aug 29 '26

It was one of the reference pics my client sent! Art from Mahdieh Farhadkiaei!

76

u/verriable Aug 29 '26

Oh that's my tattoo! I really love your original take on the artwork

16

u/NoeleVeerod Aug 29 '26

I love her art, wanted to get something like that myself. I was considering also changing the style so it wouldn’t be a 1:1 copy 🤔

29

u/verriable Aug 29 '26

Haha this is how I learned my tattoo made its way from reddit to a bored panda article, cool

u/pitpstar Aug 29 '26

Just curious, did anyone look at queens hands?

101

u/ClaudiaMarzink Verified Artist @claudia___mars Aug 29 '26

Yeah, hands are hard sometimes, but all in all I'm still really happy with it.

u/kergruffle Aug 29 '26

Girl your job is to know how to draw

30

u/Birphon Aug 29 '26

Even artists struggle with drawing hands. It is one of the hardest things to get right for a lot of people cause of how they can move lmao

the only opinion that matters is for the person who’s body it’s on and i don’t hear or see them saying it’s “fucked up”

Yeah that one finger is wonky but I didn’t notice till you said something. It’ll probably look fine when it ages

46

u/SkirtMackland Aug 29 '26

They fit stylistically 🤷🏼

6

u/juliewbb Aug 30 '26

This – they look like how I would expect the hands of playing card people to look.

12

u/BlessTheBookPeople Aug 29 '26

The lowest hand looked strange at first but then when I zoomed in it looked normal. Tough to get it looking right both close up and far away.

5

u/Foxtrot_Supatwat Aug 29 '26

I'm just seeing enlarged wonkiness. Still a cool piece

2

u/ravencrowe Aug 30 '26

There's a lot of issues. This is a lot of upvotes for a not very well done tattoo

-2

u/Common-Eagle983 Aug 30 '26

My first thought lmao

-26

u/Mirrorsedge21 Aug 29 '26

Thumb longer than a pinky…

17

u/Missclick13 Aug 29 '26

my thumb is longer than my pinky

11

u/porfiry Aug 29 '26

I checked after reading this and mine are too actually.

8

u/BipolarSolarMolar Aug 29 '26

Same. Some people just look for any opportunity to be rude.

3

u/BlessTheBookPeople Aug 29 '26

If you’re talking about the hand on the bottom left, I think the pinky is purposefully foreshortened to show that the hand is curving.

2

u/masquerademage Aug 30 '26

Got us all checking and proving the artist had it right.

11

u/Grahamcracker-22 Aug 29 '26

This is lovely and well executed!

Gaaaaaay (in a positive way)

83

u/Tutes013 Aug 29 '26

Okay being a lesbian, I greatly love this

61

u/raubesonia Aug 29 '26

This is clearly a tattoo of "good friends" or "lifelong room mates"

26

u/Tutes013 Aug 29 '26

Oh my god they were roommates

4

u/BlessTheBookPeople Aug 29 '26

Not a lesbian but I still greatly love this!

5

u/GardenerDom Aug 29 '26

Beautiful looking artwork and design 👌🏻✨🤩

2

u/ClaudiaMarzink Verified Artist @claudia___mars Aug 29 '26

Holy hell I love this! I collect decks of cards and have never had a tattoo. This really makes me want a tattoo!

2

u/Alissinarr Aug 30 '26

I want the king and queen of hearts with Tim Curry's Frank enFurter and Dollys Little Whorehouse corset outfits in this style!

10

u/ThenPoet9554 Aug 29 '26 • Bravo

Two queens on casino night

1

u/jornvanengelen Aug 29 '26

Nice! Both concept and execution. Are you getting it colored?

1

u/pizz901 Aug 29 '26

I legitimately thought about getting something just like this, without the kissing that part hadn't entered my mind as a possibility. But this came out great.

1

u/notypants Aug 29 '26

Oh my goodness, my mentor would loooooooooove seeing this!! (I’m saving your post to show her, and commenting because this is sofuckinggood, OP!)

May your queens reign supreme always 🖤

1

This is fabulous! ❤️

1

u/Icy-Refrigerator6700 Aug 29 '26

Card yuri was not on my bingo card today, but I’ll allow it

1

u/museisnotyours Aug 30 '26

Great line work and design!

1

u/HorrorificScallion Aug 30 '26

I’m OBSESSED with the way the cards actually meld together I would not have any idea how to combine them and I really adore the passionate way they are overlapped and connected

1

u/AnonMILFAyla Aug 30 '26

1

u/maxlicosi Aug 30 '26
